I once had respect for Giuliani, but it is gone with the wind since his efforts after September 11. Truly sad to see as he is referenced in many educational texts as potentially having been a charismatic leader...but I guess that is his choice to join forces with McCain instead of other Republicans with common sense like Colin Powell.

I suppose this is news and you have to report it, but sometimes I wonder if by giving this "stuff" so much attention we aren't helping spread the negative message of those who initiate these ads.

This campaign, beginning with the primaries almost a year ago, has been going on way, way too long. Some sort of campaign reform, with respect to length of campaign and the amount of money spent by the candidates, is, in view, desparately needed.

And how about a limit to the number of times in a row that a candidate can show the same ad? After seeing them five and six times straight, they are extremely annoying ---can this really be an effective way to reach people?
