I'm not angry about Palin's clothing or accessories. I'm not angry that she was shopping in ridiculously expensive stores using money donated to the RNC by hardworking Americans. After all, I haven't donated a penny to the RNC.

What does anger me is the double-standard here. At nearly every campaign stop, it seems that I hear Governor Palin saying something to the effect of, 'I'm a small-town hockey-mom who shops at Wal-Mart.' So, to continue to try to pass yourself off as a 'regular Joe Six-Pack', and yet shop at a Barney's or Saks Fifth Avenue is simply being a two-faced poser.

So funny that the Wicked Witch had to stop wearing her expensive designer clothes and start wearing her own clothes. So hilarious that she whines about the clothes being a big flap yet she wastes valuable rally time whining about it and showing off her pedestrain clothes.

No surprise that the Shrill Shrew from Alaska used a faulty bidding process to get that pipeline contract. I wonder how much her kickback was. Just more of that failed no-bid contracting that has wasted tens of billions the past 8 years. More lies from the Liar of the Northwest!

The Obama/Biden team is paying huge salaries each week for make up for the boys from Oz, Lion BO and Scarecrow Joe. Their dress costs will not be published, until after the election, and Michelle Obama’s expenses, if she paid for the outfits, it would make Sarah Palin look like the average American she truly is in a consignment store. Nobody really is interested in that at this point. Negative attacks against Sister Sarah to destroy her just like they did to Joe the Plumber in Ohio. Big Brother has finally arrived, and it’s not the show on CBS.

McCain/Palin signs are starting to appear in record numbers in the last days of the campaign, confirming the belief of many that a "Giant vs Patriots" type of surprise is in the making. Apparently voters do have the final word, contrary to the views and thoughts expressed of late. You have to play the game I guess, and win, to go undefeated. Memphis was just too much for Kansas, well at least until the game was played in April. Kansas, oh yeah, 2008 National Champions. McCain/Palin 08 (can't wait) 2008, year of the upset.

I suggest we find out how many things you have purchased from that resale store, I suspect it's not much. Why would a family who earns $200,000 a year need to shop at a consignment shop? I want to talk about the clothes,
First of all Palin and Hasselbeck did a great job on the stump yeaterday, the dumb down America tour is doing better than I could have ever expected.
Palin should wear the clothes that were bought, Teh RNC apid good money for those clothes, they should not be in the belly of that plane. The pink jacket she had on yesterday fit very badley, bunched up at the shoulders, and bunched in the front at the bottom. Why spend all that money and not use the goods. What a waste. All in all the Palin and Hassellbeck rallie ( aint we cute and dumb) was great.

Ms Palin is not some poor Alaskan with no experience in campaigning. She is a Governor, for goodness sake. She has campaigned and certainly has clothes in which to campaign. And anyway, she and her family certainly are not poor (by any state's standards).

It's not that she didn't have clothes (that argument doesn't make sense) - it's that the McCain campaign thought of her as a kind of 'trophy' candidate (like a trophy wife). They didn't care about what she knew but how she looked and they spent their time and money making more sure that she looked good than they did how much she knew.

The sexists here are the McCain campaign! They choose the least qualified woman (although there are many qualified women in the Republican party) because she looked good. And then they spent tons of money to make her look even better. This wasn't a VP nominee, this was a candidate for "American Idol"!

I don't like Ms. Palin's politics but I feel sorry about how she has been treated by the McCain campaign! And if they should win this election, I have a feeling that VP Palin will not be heard from in any substantive way. She (and her family) will be trotted out (decked out in the most expensive clothes no doubt) for photo ops whenever the polls go down.

It was green-horned, and politically unsophisticated to bring up clothing-gate, just as it was beginning to die down. (In the same way Bill revisited the Bosnia scandal, the pundits were all over it, all over again).

Palin's claim to shop in consignment stores does not ring true. Those who know her in Alaska have informed us that she is known as a clothes horse in her home state. She seemed guilty yesterday on the stump with her usual dose of sarcasm topped with a goodly glob of victim's whine.
