The message of "Let me tell you why that guy is a bad guy" only works for certain types of folks. For the rest of us, your message has failed.

Another absurd tactic from this absurd campaign.

I watched Rachel Maddow's interview with Sen. Obama the other night and one thing really stood out to me. Rachel mentioned that he had taken on Bush/McCain but had not said that conservatives or conservatism was bad for our country (something to that effect.) His answer was that he truly wanted to bring everyone into the fold to unite the country, get us all actively involved and responsible for our politics and a new direction. This kind of thinking really struck a chord for me - Finally, no more of the 'Divider' but a man who really desires to see us all work for the good of our country as a UNITED States. I was already an Obama supporter, but had I been undecided before, this would have pushed me over to him.

It's a shame that third parties are not held liable and responsible for the garbage they put out. I think campaigning should be revamped to exclude all third parties (527 etc) from putting out any advertising or campaign messages for or against any legitimate candidate and all legitimate candidates should have to answer for any negative ads put out in their favor. That might stop third parties when they realize that the candidate they are supporting has to use campaign funds to debunk the garbage the third party has put out. Only fair.....

While I could be said to be one of Newsweek's Politicalholics, I have never heard of the term push polling prior to this. This is absolutely disgusting, and I do not care who you are trying to push for or against. Using this kind of untruthful trickery should be illegal. This is worse then false advertising. This is about a very crucial moment in our Country and choosing the next President of the United States. This says something very disturbing about John McCain and his supporters. I hope the individuals who are subjected to this push polling take this heavily into account when they make their decision as to who they will vote for in this election.
