So why does this comment of Obama's come out the day before the election? He said this in early 2008, but our elite liberal media doesn't find this to be important until election-eve? We know more about Joe the Plumber's taxes and Sarah Palin's wardrobe then we do about Obama's energy policy. I'm sure people in WV, PA, and VA would be very interested in Obama's anti-coal views, and would vote accordingly if they knew the truth about Obama.

We could'nt watch any of the local channels in Pennsylvania all weekend. The local channels here in Pa were bomb bomb barding with slime and dirt attacks by the desperate maccain. The few extra points mccain got these past few days are from stirring up the racists in rural Pa. Most of these people know they are getting poorer by the minute because of tax cuts for the wealthy, but mccain knows that with these uneducated racists 'hate' is more important than food. Even though when cornered by a a pathetic old woman asking maccain about Obama bring an Arab etc. Mccain had to admit Obama is a decent man and a family man. But he started his dirt throwing & lies about Obama with the old Rev Wright films. "that is so old & lame." Mccain could stop this dirt throwing if he wanted to, but he knows he is desperate and he has nothing else to offer. Mccain has been courtin the racists in Pennsylvania for weeks now. I've lived in a rural area a long time, and I noticed in the past few weeks the older, farmer, undereducated people around here are being brainwashed by continueous slime attacks on senator Obama. Mccain should be ashamed of himself. He stated with his own mouth that Obama is a decent man and a family man -- and yet you hear with mccain's own mouth saying "I'm John Mccain and I approved this message at the end of all of his dirt throwing messages." I do not want this kind of person as my President. And this country deserves a better person than that as a President.

As a final comment on the election (and the "W" Years), we have truly departed from truth-telling and accountability in our politics. Sarah Palin does NOT get to say that she was "not" found guilty of abusing her gubernatorial power, when she was. Ted Stevens does NOT get to say he was "not" found guilty of any crime, when he was. Republicans (and Democrats) do NOT get to say that a presidential candidate is a Muslim (when's he's a Christian). And, no one should EVER challenge the Patriotism of another candidate (period!). Each primary-winning candidate represents the voice of half of our country, you do NOT get to call him (or her) unpatriotic, because than you are calling half of America unpatriotic. In closing, I hope the Republicans learn from this election that the strategy of character-assassination is no longer effective! On paper its over. But elections are not won on paper, they are won in the election booths. I believe the Juggernaut beats McGimmick handily by a virtual landslide. This despite what one of the worlds most renowned Liars (Mr Clinton) said when I said Senator Obama would win handily (that makes me nervous). What I don't see in any of these polls or political analysis is what effect these long lines at polling booths are going to have on this election??

It is criminal that in this technological day and age, in this sophisticated country, people have waited 2-10 hours to cast a vote! I would expect this in a 3rd world country, not here.

I know Obama is going to be affected negatively by this. People who are for him, and think he's ahead in the polls, and are faced with a long wait, will go home. My own sister, an Obama supporter, said as much. And these new young voters, used to split-second responses to everything are going to give up.

There should not be a wait that goes past 1/2 hour in any place in this country.
