It will be a long night, but the wait will be worth it. Hopefully we shall know sooner than later if we can start calling him President Elect Obama and Vice President Elect Biden. BUT....here's the silver lining should McCain pull an upset and win...no more Bush! And, I can finally return to sobriety after spending the last 8 years dinking just to get through the Bush disaster.

At the risk of sounding too gushy, I wish I'd been at that polling site in Virginia this morning to meet Joe Biden. He's always been my favorite senator (no matter what state I lived in at the time), so I'm especially glad that he'll be our next VP, with Obama as Prez.

Joe is awesome and will be a great VP; I can't wait!

This election year has been a roller coaster ride and I have really enjoyed MSNBC, including Pat B. and Joe Scarborough (LOL).

This blog has provided an outlet to the daily madness and my fellow bloggers have made this election very memorable...there are so many I can't name everyone!

No matter how this election turns out (let me retract) hopefully Obama wins, MSNBC is now my 1st choice to view and my husband whom is deployed to Iraq, faithfully visits this site to stay abreast of issues. Although, he states over there they are only able to view Fixed News, ugh! Wonder why? But says Soldiers are pumped up about an Obama presidency, so take that Fix News!

Thanks MSNBC, especially Keith O, Chris M., Shuster and Rachel Maddow!

I am curious though, I kinda’' figured Chris M. was a republican, but I can't help but know he voted for "THAT ONE"????

Wow, he is a great American!

I live in Maryland and voted this morning, it was incredible. I took my 2 year old and told him we were voting for his future. He say's 'barackobama' real fast and it is just one word to him, but he says it clearly. I can't wait to show him the pictures I took today of him and my ballot so later on in his life he will know he was a part of history.

I am so proud today and can't wait to get home and see if we won or not!

What a great story! So many little things done right by everyone involved. I work in an elementary school and everyone is brimming with pride in our country today! This is a day I will always remember. We live in a wonderful country, and every four years we are reminded of the special freedom we all share. I had the privilege of talking to a class of first and second graders this morning about the importance of today, and their parents right to vote. One of the students had on an Obama shirt, and we talked about his right to show support for what he believed in, and the need to respect children and families that support Obama or McCain. Everyone is just so tuned into this moment in history that it's amazing.
