I must say I feel very doomed and I am not a pessimist. Everything I work for will soon be "shared" amongst everyone else including the illegal aliens so we all have the same, no matter how hard I work. What more did Obama have to do to prove he's unfit for the presidency?

Have extensive ties with terrorists? Check.
Proclaim America's founding document to be "fundamentally flawed"? Check.
Threaten to bankrupt an industry that provides half this country's juice? Check.
Promise to weaken America's military, empower the United Nations, boost the standing of the world's tyrants. Check, check, check.
Push an economic plan ripped from the pages of Karl Marx? Check.
Denounce self-interest -- i.e., the lifeblood of a market economy -- as "selfishness"? Check.
Have a late-game revelation about an aunt who's an illegal alien enjoying public assistance, ignoring deportation orders, and making illegal campaign contributions to Obama? Check, check, and check.

Sure, America could use a change in focus, but that doesn't mean the most radical departure possible will somehow pay the biggest dividends. On the contrary. Everything Obama threatens to do will actually weaken America and her standing in the world.

And to add to all that he has no pride in the American Flag and can not (or will not) prove his own birth records as an American Citizen.

One day very soon, everyone will feel the results of the tragedy that has occurred on this day. Unlike 9/11 that immediately shocked us all, we will feel our country slowly disintegrate into oblivion. By the time Americans realize what has happened we will be like the frog in the pot that slowly rose to a boil and was cooked. Our days are now truly numbered. Religious people talk about the End of Days and I always felt that was something to happen a very, very long time from now. Now it seems by 2012 we may actually see the end.

There is nowhere else to go unless we head to India to find a job, so we must all sit and watch this play out. Most democrats will think this is sour grapes or "whining" but McCain was no picnic either. He was just not going to turn us into the socialist USSA.

Hillary's statement

Please Hillary! "A Democratic Congress"? We all talk about this so called change, but very few actually know what that change is. For the sake of our nation I hope that this change is what we all want. I believe there will be change. Kenya is not the driving force behind September 11, 2001.
If you are referring to a Muslim background, perhaps you should do some research on Bangladesh where Mr. McCain's daughter is from (80% Muslim.) OR perhaps we should just remember that we are a rather young nation that is free to embrace, celebrate, declare, speak of, and accept our diverse backgrouds. And for the record, as a "white" christian of european decent, I accept the fact that you are protected by our constitution to express your opinion without fear of persecution. I believe that Mr. Obama is of Christian faith and if his name was Max or John Michael Smith, we wouldn't have these misconceptions. Regardless, please do NOT blame the religion of a person based on other's actions. Remember Timothy McVey? Good old white Christian boy born right here in the good old U.S. of A. Judge ye not. Though I cannot vote in your elections, I live on a bordertown and see Americans everyday in all parts of my life. I liked Hilary Clinton and it was unfortunate that she and Obama both couldn't win, but thank god America made the right choice. I have a lot of respect for McCain, but felt that his choice of Palin for VP was the beginning of his defeat. His speech was incredible, and I think that no other Republican would have gotten as many as the votes as McCain did. He was the Republican's only hope in winning. I live in a "socialist" country where our taxes pay for our health care and wellbeing. I could never imagine the feeling of having to pay for my health care. And we don't have long waiting times. Cute comment about the USSA, though completely misguided. Firstly, illegal aliens cannot collect welfare checks or other social supports because they have to prove they are american citizens, no? If I, a young, white, Canadian female were to live in your country illegally, would you classify me as an illegal alien, or do you reserve that term for other ethnicities? Puh-leaze! The government is not going to rob you of all your money, and you probably will only have to pay like an extra grand at the most if you make more than 200k per year. Last I checked, those who make 200k per year are not that hard up.

The rest of the world thanks you, America. Never have I been so proud to live next to your country.

Hillary's statement

Greg, Gridley, Ks: Your claim that Obama is a terrorist clearly identifies you as an idiot.

Hillary's statement

to all you wacky folks who bought the propaganda spewed by the right -- get over it. we all had to shut up and suck it up for 8 long years. it's now your turn, it's called the democratic compromise.

Hillary's statement

We still love you Hillary! Make Obama keep his promise on the health care plan for Americans. Don't forget us and thanks to you and Bill on rolling up your sleeves for President Elect Obama and VP Elect Biden.
