He must have seen the poll where people voted they should get a "mutt" from a shelter. He definitely has is a confident person if he is willing to compare himself to a mutt. Look at the quotes from Obama. Not an answer to anything. Not a plan for doing anything. Just idle, empty headed rhetoric. He's still campaigning. It has really gotten out of hand and you all know I love Obama. The dominoes were set in motion six weeks ago (you could argue six years ago - I blame most of the economic woes on the Iraq war, personally). A variety of speculation can stem the blood flow; but by sheer virtue of taking questions at a podium does not determine the way the wind will ultimately blow. If Obama endured the 'silly season' in Politics - we are now all subject to the 'silly season' on the economy. Give it a rest.

state and local government have been hammered this past year. the major citys are broke. the city of chicago is facing a 500 million short fall, i feel that the money we have spend on the iraq war should have goan to the citys and states.
this is not missmangement this is a direct result of the increase cost of fuel, salt for the streets,
the city of gary indiana has had to lay off fireman and police men because the money from washington was not there, the next stimuless should not go to the people it should go to the citys and states, because of the immergration problems the public health care system are broke, the local munisipals need money for again cops, firemen, teachers, road construction.
please president elect obama don't give this to the people because that will be short lived, but if we invest in our citys and towns, that will go further to getting us out of this mess that GWB put us in.
during the clintion years, the crime bill and other measures really helped the citys and especially the small town. put people back to work, dont give people money just spend.
