Rove sounds hopefull, but if this election has taught us anything, dont use old numbers to predict new movements. Numbers have really become tighter over the last few elections, districts more settled, even the definition of a landslide has changed. Also, we do not know how the multiple crisis will play out under the new admin (that, FYI, has not yet begun). Sorry Rove, you have more work to do than move around some numbers.

The Really Not Competent(RNC), and the Gross Odd People (GOP) are meeting to discuss, why they are so backwards in politics. Here is a few topics they can talk about for their very limited future. The race-baiting tactics to divide our nation. Tax policies that favor the rich only. Letting religious fanatics dictate their social policy. Offering huge tax loop-holes for large corportations. Cutting economic safety nets for 95% of all Americans. Slashing Medical benefits for the elderly, and disabled. Continuing to bankrupt our economy by staying in Iraq. Taking our focus of the war on terror in Afganistan. Ethical and legal violations at all levels of the GOP/RNC. If the Republicans chose to expand their base, they will not hold office for many years to come! And this meeting in Miami is a joke. If they TRULY cared about wanting to "improve" their Party, wouldn't they have speakers that could actually make them take a different look at themselves? Nope. They have the same old speakers who lead them to where they are today. The bottom. All they have to do is look at the exit polls. They failed with woman, with hispanics, with african americans. Why? Because they walked away from the issues that these groups are interested in....woman's rights, immigration, civil rights. America is changing and if the GOP doesn't get their act together, they will continue losing elections for many years to come. As a Democrat, I'm enjoying seeing them struggle with an identity. I hope they stick with old, white, racist men. Yeah, that's working for you, isn't it?
