Did it ever occur to HRC that her ad for Franken emphasizing the desire for 60 seats in the senate is why Franken lost the race?

Many of you know I was one of Hillary's most vicious critics. I really wish everyone who could would just go to her website and send her $5 or $10. I was one of the loudest complainers about it being her debt and she was the stubborn one who kept it going; but ultimately - she wants what we all want, a government that works for ALL Americans. I know this is a tough pill to swallow. And I know she makes tons more money than the rest of us; but she is already out the $13MM she can't recover on the loans. There is nothing to be gained from continuing to hate. Those who have posted here over six months will probably think me a complete hypocrit; but I am done with my victory dance now and am ready to be much more pragmatic. She is doing everything to help all Dems and she was awesome from the convention on. Just my two cents.

I don't see where sending money to Al Franken is going to help him win. Right now he just has to await the recount results and I hope the Democratic Party is sending lots of lawyers to ensure that Coleman and his repugnant one goon squad doesn't intimidate the vote recounters.

On the other hand she's not thinking very straight if she's not asking people to send money to Jim Martin to help fund his new campaign to win the runoff election.

If Hillary were really smart about paying down her campaign debt from the primaries she'd set up an Obama paraphanelia shop to sell Obama goodies. Considering how well Obama stuff is selling she'd clear off her debt in no time if she sold Obama goodies to the public. Barack Obama is the one man economic stimulus package.

Maybe she could make some of that "Obama Miracle Toast" to sell on E-Bay. I was so laughing when I saw some fraud selling Obama Toast on E-Bay. Anyone with a small butane torch, like what's used to make creme brulee topping crusty, a steady hand and an artistic eye can manufacture Obama Toast. In fact all those Miracle Toasts that picture jesus are all frauds made by fraudulent ripoff artists.

I am glad Senator Clinton is still working for Al Franken. People brush him off as just a comedian but so what? He's very intelligent and informed. This is what we want, right, compassionate, intelligent people in office? Isn't the gov't supposed to be "of the people?" Would this mean that someone who is a 2nd grade teacher or a factory worker couldn't seek political office? This is a senatorial seat, not the vice-presidency.

While I've not followed the race, not sure I would want someone like Franken in the Senate...the mere fact he's a democrat is not enough for me. Other than being a brilliant writer for Saturday Night Live, what else has he done that qualifies him to be a US Senator other than ranting and raving on a Liberal radio show? If that makes him qualified, then wouldn't Rush Limbaugh also be qualified to be a US Senator? Hey, I'm just asking...
