I can't wait.

Especially with the people he continues to surround himself with - professional, smart, down to earth, hard working, they want to bring our family members home from Iraq. The bottom line - they care about the direction of our country.

There is much to be thankful for next week. A lot of blood sweat & tears went into this election.

Now look what we've got. We should all be proud. Very proud.

We still need to help out Michigan. They voted Democrat for a specific reason. They knew their executives & the GOP were going to hang them out to dry. Which is what's happening.

Thanks Mitt. You'll never change. When are you going to move out of MA?

Great!!! I think Axelrod and Obama are the ones who, perhaps in combination, have this very effective, instinctive sense of timing and planning. Perhaps I'm doing Plouffe a disservice -- but not, I'm very glad that our country will have the benefit of that that particular chemistry and pacing that mark both Obama and Axelrod. Great news!

From what I have read these seem like good choices, and should add real competence to the White House. That America has not seen in 8 years! The individuals selected provide intelligence, strong organizational skills, and will help keep things on task. This is a solid start in moving our nation forward. I do not see any problems here at all.

Obama just keeps moving forward, in the right direction. Axelrod with him in the White House! I'm secretly hoping, the way Newsweek did, that someone is documenting the goings on behind the scenes, to be released as a book. The Newsweek articles were eye opening and made me even more thrilled that Obama won the election. I do have a question though, where is David Pflough?

Excellent pick. This is what's been missing for the past 8 years, smart people in positions where they can do the most good. Not just sycophants with their hands out looking for cush-jobs. I'm actually looking forward to when this administration takes office. We're in for an interesting 4 (hopefully 8) years.

In other news, the DOW dropped 400+ points to below 8k for the first time in 5 years. We should brace for more whining and ranting from the McCain sore-losers about an "Obama Recession".

David Axelrod may not be a part President elect Obama’s but he will change, despite the doubts many people have. Not only has the David Axelrod (ax man) been instrumental as chief Strategist in reverberating President elect Obama’s vision of but he actually help deliver it. This is the tenor and approach to governing so many voters had found engaging in Obama's candidacy. Notwithstanding, challenges of the economic crisis, 2 wars, and the threat of A-Qaeda making (or a doctored tape of Bush& war profiteers its attempt to denigrate and raise the specter of fear again).

If this isn’t an indication of President elect Obama’s attempt to bring change; then everyone who thinks we are revisiting should be patient. Change does come easily. President elect Obama has his classy First Lady in waiting and his sweet little daughters. His house is in order. Based upon that, which, I assume, took time and patience should come about because US (we the people) sought this change.

President elect Obama told us it wouldn’t be easy. So let’s support his judgment and leadership. President elect Obama’ s courage should be applauded for putting his life on the line and an inheritance of these huge challenges!

Yes, that is meant to be sarcastic... I think this is a perfect example of why that argument is ridiculous... There is a difference between people that at one point or another worked for the Clintons and people that were and in some cases still are in the Clinton's inner circle... The Clinton's were in the White House for 8 years, a lot of great people worked for them but some now support Obama...
