56 minutes of ovation for a man convicted of 7 felonies. Way to teach the children well. I think the Senate should invest in a pool and take there fellow workers to an undisclosed place to cheer them on. My company gives the person leaving a dinner and all is done in private. What were they thinking????????????

Waxman is a good California Boy and I am glad he is getting more power and presence in Congress. We need more younger vibrant people in top spots instead of old farts who do little but play the old boy network game of don't rock the boat.

Good riddance to the convicted felon. He certainly did not deserve to waste an hour of Senate time saying nothing and getting a standing ovation that was against Senate rules and which he didn't deserve. All the felon deserved was a Bronx Cheer!

I am very angry that the Senate gave this felon such an ovation! That was insane to watch, and uncalled for in American Government. The Senate has crucial issues concerning our nation, and they gave this criminal this kind of attention. My representatives from Wisconsin, are going to be hearing about this type of repulsive behavior. All citizens who care about their Government, should let their state representatives know how they feel. What a joke!
