Obama even leaked his talks with President Bush, even after the President told him not to do it. The leaks start at the top with the Obama camp. Obama can't keep his mouth shut.

I'm getting tired of the "Is she or isn't she", crap. I don't agree with the "Obama drama" that I hear either. If anyone brings the drama it's Hil. I mean no disrespect, but I do remember the Clinton days.

I'm glad congress made the move they did. While we are all worrying about our economy, the auto CEO's are flying around without a care. They do need to focus on the reality of coming up with a plan. I mean no disrespect to all the people who work for them. Trust me, I feel your pain. We are watching our funds on the stock market go down the tubes, our house we own considering whether to let it go or not, due to no money. These are hard times for most of us. Thank you George Bush. I'm really sick and tired of how the media has blown this whole Hillary for Secretary of State story out of proportion. Definitely a dark day for the media. We'll never be able to accuse the media of being the No Drama Media!

I do hope that Bill Richardson gets an important appointment. Ambassador to China sounds good as I'd love to hear him read the riot act to the Chinese to open their markets or we'll pull back our manufacturing jobs.

I still think it is hysterical that the media seeks the leaks, reports the leaks, and then complains about the leaks!

New narrative please - this one is ridiculous.

The media LOVES the leaks, and the simple fact is that Senator Obama has much bigger things to worry about than a leaked name or two for Secretary of This and That.

It's really not as big of a deal as the media is desperately trying to spin it into.

The leaks are intentional. That is one way of vetting the selection. If there were a serious backlash, Obama could claim the leaked information was not correct and move on to another selection. Additionally, if Clinton takes secretary of state she will see less of Washington than Arkansas. Keep her on the road and out of national politics.

learn that the NYTimes is a done paper. They seem to like to hear there own voices and buy into their own importance rather than facts.

Go look back at this past election including these reports of Cl;inton seriously not thinking about taking the job...when the obvious is in front of them if they could get their heads out of enjoying the smell of their own a$$e$.

The NYTimes is like the RNC...they need to throw all of their leaders and lead storytellers out and start anew...with real values rather than self empowering and self inflating ones.

Why is it that journalists that are supposed to be smart and capable of analysis act like elementary school children trying to play in the big league??? Here is my case.

Campaigning is all about keeping a few miles ahead of your enemies...governing is about putting out trial balloons to see if the people you have in government are clean enough to hire. These leaks about nominations are most likely intentional. They give Obama the chance to have some public vetting before confirming some appointments...what is the point of keeping an appoinment secret if when you unveil it it fails??

I am so sick of the self rightious Joe Sarface....he spenl all his time at the end of the campaign trying to dream of how Obama would not win...he pinned his hopes on some outliers in the polls to show McCain would win, now that the election shamed him, he is back to bashing Obama on his choices...Joe, if you were so ignorant to even predict an election, what makes you think you are smart to advise Obama? Just shup up...you are th worst kind of the repugs.

For those whinning about Obama's choices, it is his government to form...he knows what he is doing so can you leave the man alone to get down to work? Thank God Obama is as cool as they come.

I am so sorry that grown people, during a very serious time in our country feel the need to leak information or just gossip is sad. I am concerned about Hillary and her people in a power position, they
have never been able to quietley go about thier business. Maybe Hillary will take control of these
underlings and put a stop to it. Good luck to all us
working class folks out here who is looking for a change.
I have faith in PE Obamas judgement to pick the people to surround himself with that will make life a little better for those of us who work the hardest and make the least. The problem is that you got "no-drama Obama" vs. the two biggest drama-queens (Hill and Bill) in DC. Of course you're going to have some issues containing leaks, especially by operatives hoping to make a name (or some easy $$$) for themselves. What irks me is that everyone is pointing to this as though it was some indication of incompetence when it's simply Washington politics at work.

Charlie Stenholm would be terrific at Agriculture. A moderate Democrat, respected on both sides of the aisle, with tremendous ag experience, his appointment would be considered somewhat bi-partisan, coming from an extremely red state, and a signal that Democrats are optimistic about their future in Texas.
