Due to the tragic news from the weekend in India, USA Today notes there's no better day than today for Obama to unveil his national security team, which can be best described as foreign policy pragmatists or realists.

Considering his campaign rhetoric, why are so many on the extreme Left and Right so surprised. He is doing what he said he would do. Troubled times call for a pragmatic approach.

Bubba's willingness to make the needed concessions suggests two things: 1) He is finally fully on board and 2) He acknowledges is debts to Hillary. As for the Clinton Dramedy, only time will tell.

Don't worry, be happy. As a role model for career woman she is a Lawyer, was First Lady, two term Senator, got the history making 18 million Primary votes and now Secretary of State still she condemd. Bush has caused chaos around the World with kidnapping, torture, rape and murder of innocent people as the same Journalist/Reporters hail him as a great leader. Not one reporter showed the film of the resent Peru APEC Summit which Bush was clearly drunk. The Foreign Media was all over it but the US covered it up. Like it or not Hillary is the Secretary of State and all World Leaders are supportive of Obama's choice and their looking forward to working with her. Connie Rice has done nothing and isn't even respected by World Leaders because they knew she wasn't qualified for the job just playing the piano.

The transition: The new team

I am a Liberal Democrat and I am happy with Obama's choices. I just spoke with a very close family member who is a Republican who VOTED for Obama, and she is happy with Obama's choices.

Welcome back every one who was off during the Holiday.

The transition: The new team

What's with the media lately? I keep seeing interviewers trying to stir up partisan bickering between their left and right leaning guests. The guests aren't biting though. They are all impressed with the actions of our president-to-be. Those of us who have been long time supporters aren't surprised though. Obama's the real deal. You can tell cooperation doesn't come naturally to our entrenched polititians, but they're giving it their best shot. Obama's making that easier for them. I also thought Gov. Richardson would've made a great Sec of State, but I'm not near as smart as the President-elect, so I'll just wait and see on that one.

The transition: The new team

I can't understand how Hillary can be Sec. of State when Bill is in the pocket of the Arabs. Where do they get all that money and why should we think that Hillary will not be presuaded by the money?

The transition: The new team

We are watching the genius of Obama, the intelligence of a guy who simply commonly uses common sense.

The transition: The new team

It's interesting how selective memory can be.
