There sure is a lot of love going on with President-elect Obama these days, both here in this country and abroad.

I guess people realize now that keeping Gates was the best thing he could do under the circumstances. And that reaching out to the best and the brightest people he can find, regardless of party or politics, to come and join his Administration is terrific. It means compromise, so vital in today's world.

So our President-elect really is living up to his promises during the campaign to be President of the United States, wish means not bowing down to the "base" of his party.

Wonder where you start with a infrastructure as screwed up as ours, we are bareley as good as a third world country, if our NE elect grid goes out we are a third world country. The Arizona border has been wide open the entire time that Napolitano has been the governor. Her excuse has always been that it is the Federal governments job to secure our borders. As an Arizona resident, I can't wait to here her sorry excuse as to why we still can't get a handle on the border. It will be her responsibility once she is sworn in as head of Homeland Security. The fact is, all Democrats want to keep the border open, sothat when Congress shoves through the Amnesty Bill, we'll get 20 million new Democrat voters, all with their hands out. Any Democrat will tell you that we can't take care of ourselves, that the government has to do it. Anyway, the new Homeland Security chief getting a handle on the border, it isn't going to happen.

Did anyone really expect that she would say she was unhappy with anything President-elect Obama does? She must have been biting at the bit when he named Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State since it was so obvious to everyone that Hillary was not her favorite person (to put it nicely).
