I admire Bill Gates tremendously (as a techie and former Intel employee, AND for his more recent philanthropy), but please Joe, don't listen to his position on H1B visas!! More than enough American IT folks have lost their jobs because of the IT industry's OVERUSE of these visas.

Does it strike anyone else that the incoming administration has done more in the past three weeks to advance the ball on just about every front than the current administration did in the past three years ... at least? And not only that, but they are stimulating other people like Condi Rice to actually do their jobs for a change. You may disagree with what Obama and Biden are doing, but you cannot deny that they're engaged.

Even if that's all that "change" ever amounts to, it will have been worth it just to know that there's someone minding the store again.
