Sure seems like a lot of people interested in taking over Hillary's Senate seat. I still like Caroline Kennedy as she is competent and if she wants to have a more public role in life then she should be welcome to do so. Good to keep the Kennedy legacy going in the Senate.

Doesn't look good for Franken to win the recount and it sure is fishy that there were some votes missing or initially overcounted.

Putting Jesse Jackson Jr. in the senate is just another step towards perpetuating the politics of race. Jackson is the guy that did a hatchet job on HRC when he suggested that she is a racist based on some of his lame brained thinking..... It is time to put race aside and do away with concepts of "black" or "white" seats.....they are seats, period. Any thing else is racism with a liberal spin.

I'm not so sure that Gov. Blagojevich will be naming the successor, I hear he was just arrested by the FBI.
He has been under federal investigation for several years.

Tancredo is out! I'm glad to hear that since he seemed to be a one issue guy and not clear on anything else.

I hear that Gov. Rod Blagojevich was arrested this morning on corruption charges. Can that be confirmed? If he is no longer governor, then who makes the call as to who fills Obama's seat? Does the LT. gov do that? If he does, then he will have a lot of friends suddenly.
