Well it seems that Bush's physical pace is about to match his normal mental pace, 5 miles per hour.

Ah, I suppose we need to leave GWB alone. We have bashed the guy enough. But for good reasons mind you. I'm not excusing him for a terrible 8 years but then one has to consider, it was the mentality of many Amercian voters who put this guy in office in the first place (twice) even knowing that he was incompetent from the get go.

In letters sent from both House and Senate Republicans, President Bush has been warned not to give funds that Congress expressly appropriated for "financial institutions" to Detroit automakers. The House letter also suggested such a move by Bush may be illegal and unconstitutional, noting that only Congress has the right to appropriate taxpayer funds.

Like they think Bush will actually listen to them. Bush has become too much like the democratic party and Americans are fed up with it. Giving everybody what they want leads to your downfall.
