I am ready to take people like Franken, Coleman, the Gov. of Illinois, the Dems wishing to block the appointment of Burris, the Republicans leaving Washington during the inaugeration, Pelosi, Reid, the Republican leadership(if there is any), Congressional members and any members of the media who continue to report boring stories over and over again, and ship all their a--es off to some far off island where the natives don't mind being inundated with stupidity, arrogance, miscounduct, lack of team play and all those other adjectives that describe people who seem to have a habit of getting on other's nerves.

I hope the MN Supreme Court finds that ALL rejected absentee ballots -- regardless of which counties they came from -- should be re-examined, and any ballots that were rejected erroneously should be added to the count. It's so close that to ignore any ballots taints the "final" count.

SoS' of all 50 states have a big job on their hands fixing our election system. EVERY vote should count, and these recounts call into serious question the validity of any and all cases where the vote was close. Whether or not they actually do anything about it is another matter...

Don't you just love it when the "righteous" Republicans speak out and knowing how the past eight years have seen the Republican brand being the most unethical and corrupt in modern times. Even after the smashing the Party took in the past election, their despicable ways remain unchanged. It must be an attention deficit deficiency.

Coleman is trying to add absentee ballots that were rejected because they did not meet the standards for such that exist in state law. And he has picked out ones in area where he is expected to gain votes. This is clear fraud.

I think the Minnesota Supreme Court decision on the absentee ballot counting was bizarre and pathetic. The Court ruled that both the Franken and Coleman campaign must agree on an absentee ballot for it to be counted. That's nonsense - why should they have to agree for a vote to be counted? It just inivites partisan nonsense, with each side trying to gain an advantage by refusing to agree to count ballots in areas where they underperformed.

State law in Minnesota is very clear. There are 4 reasons why an absentee ballot can be disqualified. Otherwise, the ballot should be counted. The Court should have simply required that local election officials review all the disqualified absentee ballots to ensure that the ballots were properly disqualified and identify which of the 4 reasons the particularly ballot was disqualified for. They should then count the votes of any ballots that were wrongly disqualified. End of story.

Why should Al Franken get to count the votes he sees fit and not the 650 ballots that the Coleman campaign is inquiring about?

The hope this is over soon. Come on MN State Supreme Court, tell both these bozos to take the ballots and count them all then leave any disputed ballots for an independant panel to decide (with no mouthing off from Coleman or Franken or their campaigns).

Look, if we can teach a bear how to skate we can recount with all praties present intelligently. This kind of fighting and confusion and law suits and pissy fights is immature of our leaders and getting boring...come on, figure it out and announce a winner...for crying out loud, enough already. The GOP of late appear as whiners and complainers...if it is legitimate, count it and move on...if not, fix it so it is fair but do not create hold ups just because...this is a country we are running, not a rehearsal for some play...get serious, take your thumbs out of your mouths and grow up.
