Traditions. Change. Perhaps we have an example of both. I don't fault the traditions as traditions say something about who we are. It is, indeed, an honor to be elected to the US Senate and these men and women have worked hard to be elected from their state. Change. Perhaps another way to approach the job of creating the laws for the country. Some Christian traditions pray for their leaders. Perhaps we should pray that these men and women put country first in these dangerous times.

Does not completing Burris' creditendals give the IL Secerty of state veto power over a governor carrying out his constitutional duties? This is especially an amusement for Republicans and a distraction for Democrats.
This obsession of divided attention from parties needs to stop. Can't we Americans come together for the betterment of this country?

The Senate should try accompanying the business of the people of America who have lost their jobs and homes. Perhaps, Hamas' rockets would stop if the USA would stop pampering Israel. That's why we need all representation in Congress and Change, IMO. That would be change--no unnecessary war funding and no gridlock; we can't function with a dumb trillion dollar deficient.

Well it is clear Obama is another hack. The token black man in charge. He didn.t have the scones to support the only other Black man who could have sit in the senate. And this holyier than thou crap. Obama came out of the same political machine as the rest of them. The governor is the governor until he is gone. Just like Bush is still president until 1/20 like it or not. this is a complete disgrace! Harry Reid has no legal right to withhold the seat. The last ime it was tried interestingly enough was with Adam claton Powell. Mr. Powell prevailed in an 8-1 Supreme Court decision. Sounds like business as usual.
