Just seat the man for goodness sakes. If he runs in 2010 so be it. Deal with it then. I feel the economy, war, housing crisis is more important than dragging this on.

Harry Reid got a good dose of the Chicago Way yesterday. Obama switched sides too and called Harry and told him not to screw up his inaugeration. Harry and Barck went from last week saying "Burris will never sit in the Senate" to this week rolling out the red carpet for Mr. Burris. And it's not about race. Really, it's not. Harry said so. Durbin said so. Burris said so. So it's not about race.

I wish that Roland Burris would just get seated now. Time to make sure the people are properly represented. Ofcourse that goes for Minnesota and getting Franken seated. What a hypocrite coleman is in that he called for Franken to call off the automatic recount to help get the healing process under way the day after the election and now he wants to delay the inevitable and avoid getting the healing process going. More Party First, Country Last from the repugnant ones.

Yup. It's all about power for the Democrats. Sure, it gets messy now and then. Still have to deal with that Kennedy appointment that's coming soon. That too will be messy. No matter. It's all about power. Harry Reid says it's about the honor, dignity, the sanctity of the Senate chambers. Don't make us laugh Harry.

Didn't surprise me that Burris got in; he, despite all intentions, got in legally. Now we in IL need to impeach our governor, get Burris ready to go, and get the nation back to business.

And I'm so eagerly awaiting the 2010 election here in IL since I don't think Burris will win...that'll be fun!

Sure it's legal. But, tt's a shame that his morals are so low that he would take this appointment. By accepting this, he is just showing that he will do ANYTHING to get ahead politically. That doesn't bode well for the people of IL. If the Repulicans in IL can't take advantage of this in 2010 when the senate seat is up for grabs...
