The sooner Senator Al Franken gets seated the better for passing bills to move our country forward out of the quagmire the bushwhacker has put it in. I hope that Patterson makes his decision soon on who will replace Hillary. While Caroline seems to be losing some support she'd still make a far better Senator than any of the repugnant ones who have stunk up Congress the past 28 years.

Harry Reid should keep quite about the senate race in Minn. Just wait until all the legal procedures are done and Mr. Franken has been declared the winner before he seats him, no ifs,ands or buts. Then the Republicans would not have have a leg to stand on. Of course that would not stop some people from believing that the people that recounted the votes, and that would include Republicans, Democrats and Independents, all got together and cheated for Al Franken. Impossible!

They went after Sara Palin’s qualifications and family with a vengeance but haven’t said hardly anything about Caroline’s qualifications and nothing about her family. Sarah Palin gave ANOTHER inane interview last night. What a joke. She was RIGHT about one thing, though....there is a class difference between her and Caroline. Caroline HAS it, Palin doesn't. The more she opens her mouth, the more I hope she stays in the spotlight; she'll keep Democrats in office for many years to come.

Burris and Frankin should be seated. Governor Paterson should probably pick someone other than Caroline Kennedy Shlossberg. While I think Caroline is qualified there must be someone less controversial that Gov. Paterson can select. If Caroline wants the job than she can run for it when the term is up.
