I notice that you don't think Blagovich is a bigot, given the fact that politicians choose the backdrops of people behind them. I in no way read that Domenico held in any disregard women, minorities, babies or the handicapped. I can assure you that people's naturally react against being labeled a bigot, and it furthers no cause or advancement to carelessly use the word bigot (or related words) except to make a good Democrat Soldier feel better. So, why use such a strong word when it is not truly meant or obviously not relevant to the topic-at-hand? People, all of you, Rod Blagojevich is not the problem, he is in a broken system. If any of you are naive enough to think that Quid PRO Politics does not happen, and he is the first to want a favor in return for an appointment, please just look at Washington DC. The people driving to impeach him are the same people who want his job. The Man has not even been charged with a crime, and his opponents are the ones who worked to bag him. What gets me angry is the people after him think we are stupid enough not to see past their own motivations, what have THEY done for anyone in Illinois. Thinking of doing something, and actually doing it are two separate matters, he did nothing wrong at all here. Blagojevich probably did not appoint who everyone in his party was pressuring him to appoint, in this case, I think Lisa Madigan wanted it. The Attorney General now has her daddy leading the charge to get him out of office so he can pave the way for her to run for Governor. The fact these people think we are not smart enough to see through all of this sickens me more than anything. From the statute of the law, The Governor, even if he wanted a political favor, never carried out such an act, therefore, by the law, he committed no crime. Stop, think, and listen to what is going on, there is more to this than 20 second sound bytes.
