I hope that people will take the time to listen to/watch Sen. Biden's full address. There is a lot of rich history there, as well as the insights of an open-minded, serious and thoughtful man. Particularly touching to me was the account of the conference table in his office, inherited from the late Sen. John Stennis and the almost full circle that history sometimes takes us, but with a step ahead at each passing.

Yes, he spoke for a while --- but what's important is that he SAID SOMETHING, things that revealed him for the gentleman and statesman he is and some lessons that it wouldn't hurt all of us to learn about dealing with those with whom we disagree. We are very, very fortunate to have this man as our Vice President and as a close adviser to our President

Molly Anna, just curious, how is Obamas presidency a sham? HE was duly elected and confirmed by the electoral college. That you may not have voted for himdoes not make his presidency a sham. Unlike when the supreme court elevated Bush to the presidency after Gore beat him. Just saying....
