FR: In a speech today at Fort Bragg, NC, Vice President Biden welcomed home members of the 18th Airborne Corps, praising their service and other U.S. soldiers in the audience. "You are the best trained. You are the bravest. You are the most conditioned. You are the best force America has ever assembled," he said.

Too bad the same can't be said about the people that command them.

This after Obama told the vets to go through their other insurance first before using the government health care system. What a slap in the face that was for the vets. Obama then backed down from that stance and got back into the mode that the government is the be-all and end-all provider of everything to everybody.

Just looked at the recover.gov web site. It doesn't look like it's been updated for some time. Still the old propoganda that Obama and Biden babbled on and on about earlier in the year. I dug trough it for a while and I can't tell how one dollar is being spent, let alone the $800 billion is supposed to track. So much for accountablity and transparency.

Folks, On the two "pirate stories" today, we have an amusing (although an extremely tedious) trend that seems to be increasing as of late. I can go to sleep at night knowing that we have a President and Vice President who are intelligent, thoughtful and know what they're doing. Unfortunately, I awake and find "Morning Joke" dissing Mika and everyone who disagrees with him and change to watch the cartoons who make more sense.
