States are already fed up with the so called stimulus plan. Many government agencies in California have given up trying to get any money. There is so much red tape to getting the money from the feds to the state and local governments, it's not even worth the effort.

Veterans deserve the best we can offer. The VA system has become old and despicable. This didn't happen over night it took decades. There seem to be places that money comes from when politicians need money for pet projects and those include Social Security and Veterans Benefits. It is time to restore both and show that we truly do care about our veterans and our elderly. Both have contributed so much to this great land of ours. They need our gratitude and improving the VA medical system and Social Security are major steps in the right direction. Healthcare in general also is important for a strong and vibrant nation. When we can't afford it, for whatever reason, we have a nation of sick people unable to compete in a global market.

Several infrastructure projects that were cancelled are starting back up again and all of those means JOBS. And how is it Obama's fault that Wall Street melted down. It melted down on Bush's watch. obama really could have been a great president. instead, he chose to follow the bush model and feel the pain of the poor rich like aig,boa, citi, and wall street instead of the dying middle class. we are on the brink of extinction and his response is to give aig 100 more billion. yes, it may get old, but every head of household taxpayer within a 20,000-150.000 dollar range could have gotten a 32,000 stimulus check for less than just wall street(500 billion) and it would have been a lot more effective. instead, the rich get richer and just sit on the money.there are still old money families like the bushes making money, while the middle class can't even afford our health insurance.
