It's sad to see that a so-called 'news event' was so clearly controlled to benefit just a few candidates. There was no clear attempt to give the American people a chance to see what each candidate had to say on a given question. How about a debate that's truly fair to all parties involved. One where the same questions is posed to ALL participants, and ALL participants get equal time to respond. Dr. Paul certainly deserves that much (actually more) based on his un-wavering many years of service to the American people, with such a high-level of integrity in the face of so much opposition and propaganda. Not to mention the fact that he's probably smarter in the area of foreign policy than the sum total of all the candidates combined. Ron paul is an alright guy. He is a little more like that gravel fool on the democrat side, but at least he tells you the way it is. I was able to watch over an hour of the debate last night and was disappointed with it. Words can not convey the hope I'm now feeling. For so long I thought I was alone in my feeling that the U.S. Constitution still matters. That the U.S. government has grown into a self serving monstrosity that the founding fathers warned us it would try to do. I thought I was alone because the media told me I was alone. But after the first post debate polling and the polling for last night's debate, as well as all the positive comments on the forums all across the internet, it's irrefutable that I am indeed not alone. And as a father, an uncle, and a grandfather, that realization nearly brings a tear to my eye for the new hope that it's possible that future generations of America will not be required to give up 80% of their production to pay for the current mistakes and (if we were to keep proceeding the way we are) future mistakes. As for my opinion of the big media outlets now... Let's just say I keep picturing that Iraqi guy being broadcast during the Iraqi invasion saying "There are no U.S. troops in Baghdad." while it was obvious there were. I just hope this support turns into actual votes (or it's all for naught), so that no matter how much the MSM machine says "There is no support for Ron Paul." that "We The People" will invade and occupy Washington D.C. again.

A little update from last night. It's obvious Rudy needs to do a little reading. Although I don't agree with the commission report 100% as they left out a lot of critical evidence we can base some of the facts Dr. Ron Paul presented last night on that report. Looks like Rudy needs to do some reading...I'm sure that commission report is collecting dust from being used as paper weight. The 9-11 Commission report detailed how bin Laden had, in 1996, issued "his self-styled fatwa calling on Muslims to drive American soldiers out of Saudi Arabia" and identified that declaration and another in 1998 as part of "a long series" of statements objecting to U.S. military interventions in his native Saudi Arabia in particular and the Middle East in general. Statements from bin Laden and those associated with him prior to 9-11 consistently expressed anger with the U.S. military presence on the Arabian Peninsula, U.S. aggression against the Iraqi people and U.S. support of Israel. The 9-11 Commission based its assessments on testimony from experts on terrorism and the Middle East. Asked about the motivations of the terrorists, FBI Special Agent James Fitzgerald told the commission: "I believe they feel a sense of outrage against the United States. They identify with the Palestinian problem, they identify with people who oppose repressive regimes, and I believe they tend to focus their anger on the United States." Fitzgerald's was not a lonely voice in the intelligence community. Michael Scheuer, the former Central Intelligence Agency specialist on bin Laden and al-Qaeda, has objected to simplistic suggestions by President Bush and others that terrorists are motivated by an ill-defined irrational hatred of the United States. "The politicians really are at great fault for not squaring with the American people," Scheuer said in a CNN interview. "We're being attacked for what we do in the Islamic world, not for who we are or what we believe in or how we live. I am very new to politics and this will my first year voting. I just dont understand how Ron Paul says the right things, wins the right polls, but does not get attention means. My next question would be why is this happening? Who or why are they stonewalling him? How can media not report his poll numbers? I was reluctant to watch the debate last night because I figured it would be more of the same ole, same ole. I was very impressed with Ron Paul's courage to stand up and answer the question posed to him. To my recollection he was about the only one who actually answered a question. I agree there is a gross amount of censorship being done by the mainstream media including Fox. Last night they asked folks to text in who they thought the winners were. When Ron Paul came in at number 2, the newscaster quickly pushed the results aside saying well we don't agree with it so it obviously isn't accurate. People heard the truth and voted for the truth. Hannity and Colmes are as bad as the rest at distorting what is being said. Calling where they broadcasted from the Spin Room was about the only truthful thing being reported.

When I herd what happened to the boxer Joe Lewis on Freedom to Fasicm.com it tore my heart out to think he (Joe Lewis) gave his winnings for the fight he won to the veterans and the I.R.S. charged him with interest on the money he won yet never touched. They took all of his kid’s trust funds and when his mother died they even took the $600.00 dollars that the government issued his mom!!! Those are some sick people. My fellow Citizens of the United States of America: I am a 37-year old hard-working man, faithful husband of 10 years, and proud father of two young children. We- my family- consider ourselves pretty current as far as politics go. My family did NOT need MSNBC or CNN or ABC or FOX to tell us who had "The Right Stuff." We already knew his name years ago from watching CSPAN and paying attention to what was going on in our House of Representatives. That name was, and remains: Ron Paul!

Our own extended family's support of Dr. Ron Paul is from our largely middle-class to upper-middle-class base (with a few young "working poor" families and a few older, "empty nest" millionaires tossed in), and we also claim 37 War Veterans amongst us: WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict, Vietnam, Gulf War, and this *BS* Iraq war. ARMY, Marines, Air Force, NAVY, Foreign Legion, CIA... our family has/HAD them all.

Congressman Ron Paul has been a "CSPAN Hero" to me and my extended family here in NH and CT for years. We were absolutely delighted when he announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination. We didn't care which party's nomination he was running for, though, as his message and principles FAR supercede the blanket "party affiliation" which many U.S. citizens tend to cling to in election years.

Why do they do that? Is it really the TV? Do they leave their TV on a certain channel, and only pay attention to the *LOUD* news that those particular channels pipe into their homes? Do citizens of the U.S. not watch CSPAN- even from time to time- to see what is happening within our government?

Upon viewing the Old-School-Media coverage of these "debates," (and I'll tell ya- that's a misnomer, as I was THERE at St. Anselm's in NH and I watched how they EXCLUDED Congressman Ron Paul from actually debating!) I had to wonder if the whole shebang wasn't just one more "reality-superstar" program. I honestly thought the Old-School-Media coverage of the NH event was *that* CANNED, PLANNED AND CONTRIVED.

Apparently MSNBC, FOX and CNN don't have enough faith in the citizens of the United States of America to allow them to make their own decisions regarding the presidential nominee who would BEST suit their interests, given the Old-School-Media reports like this one. After all, Ron Paul supporters are *only* a handful of geek/nerd internet techie people who can circumvent the "one person/one vote" nature of internet polls. Right? {FALSE}

All those videos on YouTube.com & Google depicting HUGE crowds of Ron Paul supporters in New Hampshire, Iowa, Texas, Nevada, Florida, and more recently in California (Mountain View- Google), are just the same handful of "internet spammers," who voted their consciences in these online polls, right? {FALSE}

Sean Hannity and all the other bloated talking heads who espouse the same old, tired crap regarding Ron Paul's "Long-Shot" campaign and Ron Paul's "internet-only" supporters- they make me sick. No, they make me laugh. NO, they make me ASHAMED to be a United States Citizen, because of the tripe they broadcast day in, day out. I am ashamed that my own neighbors, friends, and even a few of my family members might believe this Old-School-Media BS, JUST BECAUSE it's what's on their home TV during their normal, daily lives.
