Hopefully President Obama will do more to support Morgan Tsvangirai than the bushwhacker did. We need to see Zimbabwe recover from the predations of that creep Mugabe who has been nothing but a tyrant.

We need the public health care option to cover the 47 million uninsured. Let's face it the private insurance industry has been a total failure at covering these people and there's no doubt that the private insurers will give poor people affordable rates. The private insurer ripoff conartists just want it to be mandatory for them to rip us all off. Only the public option can cover the 47 million uninsured because it has no need to make a profit.

If Zimbabwe had oil, we would have been there helping several years ago. Instead, we've stood by will Mugabe has destroyed their country (once considered a shining star in Africa), trampled human rights, and held on to power even after losing an election.

Don't we already have public/private health care in medicare. Everyone can get part A & B medicare and can buy supplimental coverage?

Universal coverage as a safety net of health care for all, with health insurance companies competing for the supplimental business is a win win situation.

Companies would still offer goo health care plans as a benifit to get and retain the best employee. If a company offered me an above standard coverage as incentive it would make a big difference in my decision.

Health care for all can work. Everyone has to start listening instead of talking. We need the minority party to begin working for the good of the people.

I HOPE THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT MUGABE. IT IS DISGUSTING THAT THIS MAN HAS BEEN ABLE FOR SO LONG TO TREAT HIS PEOPLE THE WAY HE DOES. AND CHRIS FROM IL IS RIGHT. THE US ONLY WANTS TO "HELP" OUT A COUNTRY WHEN THERE IS SOMETHING MATERIAL FOR THEM! WE DO NOT ALWAYS DO THINGS FOR HUMANATARIAN REASONS. WE HAVE TO GET SOMETHING!!

mugabe,a liberation war hero[fact],defeated emperialism and colonialism,trying to undo the un fair distribution of land done by the colonialists[fact].call him anything but the man has done what most african heads of state couldn't do i.e stand up to master-servant idea [worse than slavery by the way]because the colonialists still want to see africans beg even in their own backyard.was it tony blair who raised the idea or george bush,because mugabe had asked britain to fulfill her commitment signed in 1979 at lancester conference for payment towards willing buyer-willing seller scheme so that the land could be redistributed to blacks and some whites who needed it.without land there is no freedom in africa.liberation struggles were waged because of land.ENOUGH RESPECT
