The people and the press must hold Obama accountable. The “Blame Bush For Everything” excuse is wearing thin. Both Democrats AND Republicans owe the American people some answers on where the over one trillion dollar TARP and stimulus money has gone.
It has been almost 8 months since Paulson and crew told us if we don’t allocate this money immediately there will be another Great Depression. Well? We are in the deepest recession since the early 80’s. Transparency my eye, Obama is a total fraud.

The newest Washington Post/ABC poll has Obama’s approval rating at 65%, but it also shows that support for his stimulus has declined. “Overall, 52 percent now say the stimulus package has succeeded or will succeed in restoring the economy, compared with 59 percent two months ago… [N]ew questions about the stimulus package's effectiveness underscore the stakes for the Obama administration in the months ahead as it pushes for big reforms in health care and energy at the same time it attempts to revive the nation's flagging economy.”

We still stand with the President and no doubt those that are whining voted for Bush in 2000. Hell they should be ashamed for making that costly mistake.

President Obama's approval numbers are still sky high while the approval numbers for the repugnant ones are in the gutter where they belong. As time goes on and more stimulus mnoney gets distributed we'll see our economy recover and more doubters will believe in Obama's change for the better on the stimulus.

I am so laughing at how low the repugnant ones have fallen in the congressional approval ratings. How low can the evil elephant party go, how about the bottom. I'm sure some fool will come on and whine that the Rasmussen poll has different numbers that show the repugnant ones in a more favorable light.

Barack was really funny Friday night and I thank Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow for sacrificing some of their face time to bring us Barack's funny routine and John Hodgman's hilarious spoof of nerds like Barack. Barack could move into comedy after his two terms as president if he wanted to. I can't wait to see his news conference this morning.

Obama won't lay any golden eggs the way things are going. Cheney and GWB's poll rating are climbing.
Pelosi is still in the tank.

Obama won the election 53% to 46%. That's a hell of a lot of people who were not in favor of Obama. The Tea Parties are set for tomorrow. A flat tax is favored over the ridiculous and anti-American redistribution crap that Obama is trying lay on us.

Michelle Obama was in San Francisco yesterday doing some actual work in efforts to create a safe place to play for children. She was kicking off a call to community service much like she and her husband have been doing for decades. The resemblance to the Kennedys is remarkable.

It just kills the neocons and ubercons to see this President so popular and the Repubs in Congress with such a low rating. Pelosi is low too but she doesn't mind. She is elected in a very safe district and her job is to get bills through Congress.

I have heard some Republican friends say that these polls mean nothing but they point out that there was a few point drop in popularity. If the poll means nothing than the drop means nothing. They want it both ways. What a bunch of losers. I don't tell them that, of course, we want to remain friends. I just chuckle to myself, shake my head, and move on.

I wish that President Obama would get the Democratic votes he needs for a Public Plan since 72% of the country is for it and forget about the Repugnants. He does not need them. Be firm with the "bluedog Democrats". He MUST NOT lose this one & only chance of getting this through. By the way I live in Ky and emailed Mitch Mc connell and asked why is against this plan and saying that people will not be able to keep their own doctors, etc. What he is saying applies to the Private sector! Of couse he NEVER emailed me back! I am beginning to feel that this country does not deserve Obama, a man I feel really cares about the poor and the middle class. The ignorance that permeates this country is astounding. People vtoing against their own interests since they feel the Repugs honor family values. Guess lately we can see that is not true. Another thing I may add is that when I see how the "Guard" in Iran are treating their citizens who are protesting it brings to mind this country in the deep south in the 60's. We are not so behind in our "values" then these countries are now. We should NEVER hold ourselves as superior to anyone else. There is a lot of ugliness here. I hope that Obama lasts long enough to change it!

It truly is remarkable to me that critics sight that President Obama hasn't fixed everything. There truly is a veil over people's eyes. He has been hard-working, non-stop since taking office and so many presidents before him, just start working in their 5th or 6th month. That there is even an expectation that problems as large as the ones that were there would take only 5 months to fix is completely unrealistic. Disagree with his policies fine, but make it real and not this petty "he's a big talker and doesn't get anything done" crap. Since we are all the recipients of these issues, it may be time that we start pulling for it all to work to better our own situation and those around us as well. To constantly bemoan everything he does (he can't even swat a fly without major analysis)doesn't help any of us or yourselves. Get real solutions, and perhaps even get on your precious Republican representation and remind them they are there to represent the people not their ideology. Negativity doesn't move anything forward, but constructive criticism is useful. Perhaps a little more of this is needed vs. the whining that persists. It reminds me of when I was a kid and another kid would get mad and take his ball home so none of us could play. This name calling, and unsubstantiated negative criticism is not useful. It is absurd that people still believe he doesn't have a birth certificate. This controversy is long behind us since he produced his birth certificate during the campaign. You are believing propaganda from hate mongers. Get the facts...then maybe you can come up with a civil constructive criticism, which is something this present administration welcomes.
