Chuck Todd did a great interview with President Obama. Chuck asked some good questions and Obama gave some good answers. It's good to see a president with his head firmly attached to his shoulders, rather than that Clueless George who had his head stuck in a dark place. I'm sure we'll see the economy rebound as the Obama Recovery works it's magic on our Bushwhacked economy.

Lawrence O'Donnell did a great job subbing for Chris on Hardball yesterday and I hope Chris takes this week off as well. Bet Chris is kicking himself that he's on vacation when Paris Palin abandoned her post and the people of Alaska to make the big bucks as a celebrity.

During the talks yesterday, Russia agreed to allow us to fly military supplies over it's territory to help

Please--keep Palin separate from any other topic. And keep domestic issues (the economy) distinct from international relations and foreign policy posts (U.S. - Russia relations).

There is an excellent interview on NPR with Ted Koppell which discusses a journalists responsibility to "find ways" to talk about complex, but very important topics, to keep us informed and interested. Yes, our journalists have gotten pretty lazy...but so have we as the listening public. The less time we give to the BS, the less time they'll spend on it.

Unfortunately, another stark reason the BS gets so much attention is that the bosses of journalists KNOW that their key market is 18-35 yr olds. They KNOW this is the market where they make 80% of their $$$. So...you....18-35 yrs....will you start demanding credible journalism for us all? Thanks from all of us who are 36+.
