Why the rush? If we're doing a bill that is this large, I'd prefer they do it right, not meet some artificial deadline. If they truly represent the people in their district, then wouldn't it make sense to talk to their constituents during the summer recess (the purpose of the recess supposedly) to see how they feel about this huge new government program?

I love how the left wing nutjobs ask "Where do you get your health care from?!", like it's a mystery to them. It probably is. Most people get their health care from their employer, but it's not like it's free. If the costs of your employer (cost being pay + benefits) exceeds what money you are bringing in for that employer, you will be fired. So benefits are paid by the employee, because if they aren't, then your are of no use to your employer.

Got it now lefties? People actually work for their pay and benefits. You should try it, rather depend on Obama to steal from others to give you freebies.
