Pay attention to the argument this piece by Bush and Mehlman is making. They argue the GOP should back this legislation not because its the right thing to do, but because they believe the GOP has a shot at winning all the new Latino voters. I still haven't seen any indication that any Bush believes in anything other than expediency and winning. Take the abortion issue. Barbara clearly is pro-choice, and all the male Bushes pretty much agree with whatever she thinks, yet they allow themselves to be rolled out as pro-life candidates, when expediency calls for it. Maybe that's true of all politicians, though... sigh.

Immigration

Do we need to say any more? He messed everything up, from education to the health care system to anything else you can think of. He had this high approval rating while he was in office because he has intelligence(something his bro doesn't have) and he was also clever and a big lier (also like his bro). Now that he is out of office, sh-- is hitting the fan and floridians are awakening from their slumber. Everyone is noticing just how much he has destroyed the state with his arrogance and many decisions he made to put money into the pockets of his buddies. Sound familiar? And by the way, he wasn't living with his hispanic wife for quite some time due to possible philandering and two of his grown kids are nutso.
