Here is the deal, people: 1) Global Warming is probably happening though I know that just 30 years ago you same people were talking about global cooling so who knows. 2) If it is happening, it may or may not be caused by human beings. 3) If it is caused by human beings, we may or may not be able to turn the tide. It may very well be too late. 4) It is possible that economic destruction caused by the "cure" will be far worse than the disease and will result in far more people dying all over the world. 5) The results of global warming may include some positive results as well as negative ones. 6) The Earth may just correct itself in a generation or two. For people to talk about this in catastrophic or even apocalyptic terms is just ridiculous and amounts to an undeclared religion. Extremists are far more dangerous to the world than, for instance, Christian extremists.
