this is exactly why i can't stand hillary clinton (and i vote democrat). it's not only her, but her entire campaign is extremely too calculating. give it a rest! it's a huge turn off for me and millions of other voters.

In my opinion, Bill Clinton reminds many Christian women that he could not control himself while he was in office. I applaud Hillary for looking the other way in order to achieve her political goals. I passed up the opportunity to hear Bill speak in Scottsdale, AZ this week because he still represents someone who has no moral compass. He may be an asset to her, but he gave Bush the advantage in 2000 by dragging the image of the Democratic Party through impeachment hearings.

I can't imagine which Democrat would want to be vice president when a former president sets up a shadow government much as Dick Cheney has done. The two for the price of one means that Bill will be President again and Hillary will be a figure-head.

It would be very unfortunate for the country to have to revisit the Clinton pardons, the Clinton failed NAFTA policies and lack of attention to terrorist threats prior to 9/11.

Democrats need a clean slate in order to win in 2008. I am afraid that we are going to have to live with Republicans in the White House unless we are able to get beyond name recognition and examine a full slate of options.

It is too early to crown a winner in this race. The American people wee fooled by Bush 43 who was nothing like Bush 41. Clinton 42 and Clinton 44 are not the same.

please, st louis. i know there is a certain degree of calculation in all politics. but i am the last person would who use a double standard w/ men and women. hillary has been this way forever. it's disheartening to know that she's been looking to run the country for over 20 years. frankly i dont want a president who has been eyeing the white house for 20 years--it just shows how big her ego is. she calculated that is was in her best interests to vote for the war and now she has concluded it is in her best interest to be anti-war. i'd love to know what she really stands for. and it says a lot when a popular former president can't bring in as much money as a first term senator. i think it says a lot about the message and vision obama has. he's in it to change our country; hillary is in to win. she only cares about the power.

Speaker of the House NANCY Pelosi is a woman and she has an approval rating of 49%. All things considered, she's a hell of a lot more popular than Congress and the Bush Administration and she's a hell of a lot more WOMAN that Billary Clinton. So, I'm sorry, but pulling the gender card isn't working. Not on THIS Black American FEMALE !!!! Nor does it work on half of the nation. Face it. I'm in agreement I'm tired of hearing the gender bias arguement against Hillary Clinton. I don't believe applies to her anyway. She's an icon/celebrity who transcends her gender. There are plenty or reason not to like her that have nothing to do with her gender.

Any of the top tier Democratic candidates will make a fine President. I am still making up my mind between Obama and Edwards. I am not currently supporting Hillary's bid for the nomination because I think she is a terrible legislator. We should never forget the train wreck that was HillaryCare. I also am somewhat of a Catonian when it comes right down to it, and don't really like the idea of allowing two political families control of the government for potentially 28 years. In short, there are alot of people out there who aren't supporting Clinton because of gender issues. However, there are plenty of perfectly valid reasons not to support Clinton's bid that have nothing to do with misogyny. The polls that actually have meaning begin after Labor Day. We'll see who the front runners are when people besides us political junkies start looking at the candidates.
