What in blazes is Congress doing in D.C.? Never mind, I forgot that the Democrats are a thin majority with the Republicans still bowing to King George's will. Suppose he decides he wants to stay in power as Jim, D.C. suggests? Our total military force, that's active duty, guard and reserves, are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. So, who would stop him if he seized permanent control? The citizens of this country? With about 26% who think Bush can do no wrong and a number of citizens who are scared little sheep that will do as they are told, we have a snowball's chance in hell of restoring the Constitution. Lord, I never thought I would even believe there was that possibility!

The Bush White House

jerry/corpus christi texas

Why is it that everytime someone makes a comment that your tiny mind can't understand you ask for proof.

if you can't understand simple statements than what makes any of us believe you can understand proof.

As a matter of fact this lack of ability to understand goes for all of Jerry's butt crack licking neocon friends and alter personalities

The Bush White House

Ricardo - It's my opinion that Democratic voters and many Independents made the '06 election about Iraq. However, myself and most of my friends, who are registered Republicans, stayed home in November, not because of Iraq. We stayed home because the Republicans in Congress were spending our money like drunken Democrats, and we were very unhappy with Medicare Part D, parts of No Child Left Behind, and with the lack of progress around securing our borders. That is a real joke. I am sure that not all congressmen are sexually perverted, morally bankrupt or being blackmailed because of their past indescretions, but as sure as the sun will raise in the morning, they are all for sale. The things they are mandated to do are focused on doing what is right for the people of the U.S. and not personal interest groups. And most of these issues are pretty easy and logical to answer, yet you look at the conclusions these legislators come up with and it boggles the mind. The inmates have taken over the nut house.
