We just hope & pray for a good outcome - He ought to have to wait like people like us who can't afford routine every so many year test. We have insurance but a big deductible so it's basically for major illnesses. We are told to get this exam & others but haven't since it would be out of pocket and we have no symptoms which I guess he didn't-maybe he ought to save taxpayers money & pay for it himself if he wants the exam. Then after you get out of traction go take a ride in one of the 60's era Jet fighters, there are several two seat trainers still around, including a few F-104s. Not F-102s since they were five times more difficult to fly than modern fighters and killed many a pilot before being withdrawn from service.

I never got past the Cesna 150 myself, bad depth perception. I learned enough to have respect for anyone who could handle a beast like the F-102.
