Talk about a losing ticket that is out of touch with reality, here it is. McCain nor Lieberman have a sense of how the voters sent a message in november, they are sooooo out of touch. Please, is there anyone out there besides the same old tired faces and same worn out ideas? Hey I just answered my own question, it is Obama. Just saw a funny picture on the internet also, it is a sign in front of a baptist church, and it says "would someone please give him a BJ so we can impeach him"

First presidential primary debate in April

I hope (flip-flop) McCain and (cry baby) Lieberman does get the nomination for 08, it would make it easier for any Democrat to win.

First presidential primary debate in April

The real question will be if MSNBC will be extending a invitation to Ex-Senator Mike Gravel (Ak).The citizens of America deserve to hear whar he has to say.If you havew not heard of Mike Gravel it is time you have.Google and see what you think.

First presidential primary debate in April

We finally get to see ALL the candidates on stage with this one? Lieberman, in my opion, is one of only 5 or 6 people in office who has the smarts and also has a mind to do what is right for MOST Americans. I have not heard of anyone running for office I would vote for. Most, claiming to be running, will require me to vote against them. Right now Sen. Clinton is the only one running that voted for the war and dose not think she made a mistake. I agree with her on that and the other thing I agree with, is it was the way it was handled after the objective was accomplished that is a disgrace. By the way, I voted to get rid of some of the lousy crooks in office, NOT to end the fighting going on right now. And more over, I can not find a single person who voted to "end the war" on the Dem. or Rep. side of thinking.

First presidential primary debate in April

"I can not find a single person who voted to "end the war" on the Dem. or Rep. side of thinking."

Ron Paul
(Republican, district 14) Texas House
# Voted NO on declaring Iraq part of War on Terror with no exit date. (Jun 2006)
# Voted NO on approving removal of Saddam & valiant service of US troops. (Mar 2004)
# Voted NO on authorizing military force in Iraq. (Oct 2002)
# Voted YES on disallowing the invasion of Kosovo. (May 1999)

I'm looking forward to seeing Ron Paul in the debate. He knows this economy well and has the most consistant voting record.

First presidential primary debate in April

Will the MSNBC broadcast of the debate be carried on Virgin Media cable in the United Kingdom?

First presidential primary debate in April

I am so sick of McCains, whiney voice and inconsistency. I respect his history, but he is beyond that, and will not be a viable candidate for Pres. Lieberman??? Oh God, NO!!!! As a Latin woman, 69 years active, I lost my respect for Richardson when he refused to stand against Gonzales, because he is of Latin descent. Well so is Richard Ramirez, shall we get him off death row, and send him to Santa Fe?

First presidential primary debate in April

Please Please Please get informed about Ron Paul. I am proud to say that he has been my district representative for as long as I can rememer and has done an excellent job! All the neo-liberal mindwashed pseudohippies out there need to open their eyes. I read one post on alternet or rawstory from some lady going off about him being "pro-life." It is also important to remember that he is against government interference in individual liberties (including medical privacy). I fear that because he is the only candidate with true perspective on our current socio/politico/economic environment he will be marginalized by "both sides." Fortunately most people aren't on a side, but rather are intelligent beings capable of seperating fact from crap when presented with credible information from PRIMARY sources.

Get informed, and help to inform others. Register republican and vote in their primary. In some states you can even participate in party primaries regardless of party affiliation. As the one-eyed, three-legged dog in the race they need all the advantages they can get (here advantages=registered voters).

As a voter you have the opportunity to influence the issues discussed and the manner in which the debates are framed by simply siding with a strong candidate in a weak party. Voting for/against Hillary or Obama in the democractic primary will have ZERO affect on the direction in which this election is moving.

However, all three "major" candidates in the republican race are lame ducks that will not manage to get a majority of anything, not even in their own party (check the polls). If Americans out there will remove the network blinders and smoke screens, abandon the false dichotomy of left/right - rep/dem, we might actually be able to make a strong enough statement to our corporate overlords that will change indelibly the direction of our once proud nation.

We want our country back!!!

First presidential primary debate in April

Who has voted against the war every time and voted against funding the war every time? I'm convinced that our President and Vice-President would go into Iran in a New York minute if they thought it might be a necessity. Is war and killing the only answer? We need to establish more trust with nations around the world instead of making war the answer.

First presidential primary debate in April

E.
