John Edwards stood head and shoulders above the other candidates. If you truly listened to the answers and watched the candidates, John Edwards was the only one giving bold, substantive answers, straight from his heart. He has fought for the "little guy" with passion and zeal for years, and will do so once he's in the White House. Go, John!

I'm surprised at this format. No one seemed to me to be there for a debate! I enjoyed the comfort of the UTube format, but I'm ready to hear issues realy debated at some length... say 3 minutes or so from each candidate. I've spent considerable time perusing the candidates websites.
I'm currently impressed with John Edwards. Please take some time and read of his proposals for health care and Social security! Than compare these two issues with Clintons and Obama's... there's some similarities, but for the most part, Edwards blows them away with his comprehensive plan. In addition, he has a solid plan to pay for these critical proposals.

If I wasn't a republican and conservative, John Edwards would get my vote! As long as the insurance and drug lobbyist are in Washington, we will never have healthcare reform. Look at the debocle of Part D. Its a nightmare for the senior and disables.

Honestly, I have to disagree with the above reactions to John Edwards tonight. I thought he overplayed his Southern drawl (which was really annoying) and I wasn't satisfied with some of his answers. Now don't get me wrong, I like John Edwards, and I met him at Ohio University in October 2004 and voted for him and Kerry the following month. However, I think both Obama and Clinton outshined him last night.

If John Edwards is elected president, does that mean he will show up for work? Around here, he's known as the absentee senator. Since he was elected to represent us, he's done nothing (except run for president). As a result, he has no experience, other than raising the cost of liability insurance. As long as you're ready to pay the freight, he's your man.
