Is Hilarry saying anything these days? From MSNBC's reporting, it sounds like she is not making any policy statements or presenting any new ideas, just lambasting Obama, who is a real threat to her.
If she has all this experience, why isn't she making it clear to the public by making policy statements and taking stands that might raise questions? Is she just playing the rest of the candidates so that she is the last man standing?
Go ahead MSNBC, provide more fuel to the fire of this Hillary strategy. Attack all the other candidates, but speak no evil of anything about Hillary.

We all remember the hit jobs the DMR and Yepsen put out 4 years ago. This sort of newspapers simply cannot withstand pressure from the Washington Insiders.

While Obama is indeed accepting money from bundlers and state lobbyists, nobody else would be able to compete against him and his 300,000 donors if they all rejected every lobbyist's money.

What's amazing is that Obama, despite all this intense scrutiny, appears to have no real skeletons in his closet, personal or professional. By this level of excavation in a Presidential campaign, there's been a mistress or a crooked deal or at least a lie somewhere in the campaign rhetoric on the primary trail.

But strikingly, the worst there is on Obama is Harvard parking tickets, specious arguments made by people who don't read his speeches, and statements that are, at worst, determined to be "technically true" by the most diligent critics. Whether you agree with him or not, I still don't know how such an honest guy ended up in a system that usually rewards only those who lie and pander, but we're much luckier for the option of having those qualities in our next President for once.

clinton is running what some would call a very clever campaign, I would call it deceptive, her stance on every issue is perceived, she won't make a firm policy
statement on any issue, and the press thus far has given her a free pass on this, coincidence, I think not, how could dem voters nominate someone that will not make a comitmate to any of the major issues, who will they be nominating, here is what's likely to happen, clinton will get nominated on her name recognition and the fact that she is female, then after she is nominated she will be ripped to shreds because of her past history and the suspect organizations she obtains her campaign finances from, the repub's will soundly defeat her in the general election and the nation will be stuck with giuliana, so vote for hillary, forget about healthcare reform, and get used to the rich getting richer and everyone else slowly going under, this election will go do as one of the dems biggest blunders ever if you don't nominate edwards who is the only dem who can beat giuliani, ignore the press and look at the big picture, people are being mesmerized into having a false hope of clinton or obama being able to win the general election, it ain't going to happen, forget about it and don't throw the repubs the election

So I gather from John Edwards that gas prices will increase, other energy sources will increase, the Euro's will step in and sell military equipment to the middle east. Judging from some of the democrats statements, I can see gas prices hitting $6.00 a gallon by 2010, you think people are hot now......

I agree that media coverage and judgment of the candidates is anything but fair - people are calling Obama "inexperienced" because he's giving policy statements that clearly define what he plans to do. But, I don't hear of "more experienced" candidates doing the same, outside of criticizing Obama's policy statements. I think there is little talk on the republican candidates because no one really cares about them right now. I sometimes wonder why I bother to check the news anymore - it's so biased nowadays. But I find it funny that Clinton is the most electable, but the least liked... What the heck does THAT mean?

Three years ago I told a friend of mine, a very conservative knee jerk republican that all the cheering going on for sonny boy's second run for the white house should be carefully considered by republicans, that if the republicans gave junior four more years, Clinton would cake walk into the whitehouse in 08.
