And I am a bit overweight too. Make that three insults. I think it is admirable that the candidates recognize the need to reach out to a large diversity of voters. I for one am not a single issue voter. Yes I do wish to see the same rights afforded gay persons and couples as straight persons and couples but that issue is not the only reason to I support candidates. Raised a Christian in a pacifist household I am equally motivated by finding a peaceful solution to the war in Iraq. As a health care provider I am confronted daily by the inadequicy of our health care system. Maybe one candidate doesn't have all the answers I want to here but I sure do want the questions asked.

The Democratic Party is doing this election all wrong! They should be supporting Hilary Clinton to win as the presidential nominee. Hilary works hard and will get things done. She is an inspiring person for all men, and especially woman, in this country. The next presidential term, after Hilary, can then follow nicely with Obama. This can create a country unity for the next eight years.
Entertainers, like Ellen, are supporting who they think are the "cool one" for their own ratings. This is hurting Hilary campaign, turning on Melissa's beliefs as well as others---"If not now-when?"
What can occur, is democratic voters, now in support of Hilary, are going to turn to the Republican vote. Had ALL Democrates come together to supported this GREAT woman it would have been a possible win-win for both Hilary and Obama. Instead, Democratic voters are caught up in who is "the cool one" when they should be enbracing, Hilary, the candidate who can get the job of running this country done. Ask yourself, what teacher did you learn the most from in grade school, the "cool one" who "danced" his way through the school year, or the concentrated teacher who made you open the book and earned their pay? This country could again have a sence of unity, not for the next 4 years, but for the next 8 years!
