[Now we will get to see the Gonzalesian tables turned in the ''I can't recall''Dept.]. It seems [actually was,as Paul was long ago busted for his role in this] that Paul and some associates, in the closing months of the Clinton presidency, and immediately before Hillarys run for senator, grabbed a bunch of loot from Stan Lee Enterprises[home of the legendary cartoonist],where Paul worked and illegally forked it over to Hillarys handlers [including, according to Paul, who actually videotaped the handover at SPAGOs restaraunt, Kelly Craighead, WH liason, Hillarys campaign manager[Wolfson], and Hillary herself who appears on this tape, though who later disavowed any knowlage of Paul], who registered it as ''hard money''rather than the in-kind soft money that it actually was, willfully failing to declare the hidden dough. [about 1.6 million dollars]. A blatant violation of federal election laws which will be capitalized upon by the GOP, while the press attempts to circle the wagons around Hillary and throw up a smokescreen as the timing of this is of no help to the Fourth Estates anointed one. While the FEC got Hillary off the hook in 2001, it never was privy to this newer evidence being offered by Paul, which has now changed things. Trial is set for Sept.7, in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Melissa Etheridge takes the stage

The number of forums and debates is actually a bit stunning. We're sorry, that's the republican base, if they can remember how to vote. By the way, no one will ever take you seriously on these blogs if you keep trying to make your point by typing in all capital letters. It's the equivalent of trying to influence someone's opinion by screaming in their face. Why don't you turn in your white sheet and hood and join the twenty-first century?

Melissa Etheridge takes the stage

Pandering to subgroups! Thank you very much Bruce, NV for insulting so many people, including myself, in one comment. As a gay health care worker in a union company. You got a double insult. And I am a bit overweight too. Make that three insults. I think it is admirable that the candidates recognize the need to reach out to a large diversity of voters. I for one am not a single issue voter. Yes I do wish to see the same rights afforded gay persons and couples as straight persons and couples but that issue is not the only reason to I support candidates. Raised a Christian in a pacifist household I am equally motivated by finding a peaceful solution to the war in Iraq. As a health care provider I am confronted daily by the inadequicy of our health care system. Maybe one candidate doesn't have all the answers I want to here but I sure do want the questions asked.

Melissa Etheridge takes the stage

Is anyone even watching these staged info-mercials disguised as debates? Ratings for MSNBC Tuesday night were awful. Nothing new, I know, but one might expect a small bump.

Can the debates be canceled because of bad Nielsen ratings?

Melissa Etheridge takes the stage

J. In this instance it's Bill and Hillary's. They should be supporting Hilary Clinton to win as the presidential nominee. Hilary works hard and will get things done. She is an inspiring person for all men, and especially woman, in this country. The next presidential term, after Hilary, can then follow nicely with Obama. This can create a country unity for the next eight years.
Entertainers, like Ellen, are supporting who they think are the "cool one" for their own ratings. This is hurting Hilary campaign, turning on Melissa's beliefs as well as others---"If not now-when?"
What can occur, is democratic voters, now in support of Hilary, are going to turn to the Republican vote. Had ALL Democrates come together to supported this GREAT woman it would have been a possible win-win for both Hilary and Obama. Instead, Democratic voters are caught up in who is "the cool one" when they should be enbracing, Hilary, the candidate who can get the job of running this country done. Ask yourself, what teacher did you learn the most from in grade school, the "cool one" who "danced" his way through the school year, or the concentrated teacher who made you open the book and earned their pay? This country could again have a sence of unity, not for the next 4 years, but for the next 8 years!
