Just got back from hearing Obama speak, about two blocks away. Doesn't sound too Left Wing to me. Seems like a fairly centered guy which obviously scares all the Republican Candidates. If anything, the Policies of Reagan, Romney espouses, were off on a tangent, as were the Right-Wing forces he loosed on an unsuspecting America. Forces that have culminated with Dubya's Presently-In-The-Ditch Monarchy and the Mess of this Millenium. It'll be MMM before it gets cleaned up. When Mitt starts praising Nixon, go bury your wallet in the backyard, OK?

Dem. I'd say three hundred. It was at 2:30 so many folks were at work. The park is across the street from City Hall and across another street from the Historical Society, where Sen. Obama and his wife and daughters came out of. It had rained earlier but the sun came out and the temperature was in the high Seventies, breaking a bit of a muggy heatwave we have been having. The crowd was appreciative and decidedly Democratic, but it seemed more relaxed all around. Rather than expecting some sort of charismatic show, I think the crowd expected a smart guy who is humble and hoping for a better society to leave his kids, and that's what it got. His 'Phony Phactor' is way low, especially when compared to virtually all the GOP candidates. As an Independent, I call them as I see them. I could sleep at night with him as President, something that hasn't been assured as of late. I haven't seen the rest of the Demo Candidates, but this one is OK.

Hard. Since when is a liberal voting record, "Left Wing"? I'd say the conservative voting records tend to be "Right-WIng" more often then not, so they can move into that definition. If anything, the GOP has tried to cut off that Left Wing and fit the Eagle with two Right Wings. We now see that the Bird can't fly like that. It's just 'Perch and Twirl, Perch and Twirl.' Are you happy with where Dubya and Cheney have taken this country? Any Democrat will do for this 'Hard Independent', but NO Republican deserves a chance.
