Hillary is not unlike all the other presidential candidates, Democrat and Republican, in thinking if you launder money donated to the campaign enough times, it comes out clean.
There are so many loopholes in the campign financing laws that it is almost impossible to not be able to find a way to get money from whomever you want at any time.
It is time the American public stood up and said, enough. We want campaign money restricted to a certain amount for each candidate taken from the public treasury. No PAC money, no union money, no personal financing so that the playing fied can be leveled for all that wish to take part.

He is/was MITT ROMNEY's NATIONAL FUNDRAISING CO-CHAIRMAN as well as A CONTRIBUTOR TO THE GIULLIANI CAMPAIGN.
FABIAN was INDICTED ON 23 COUNTS of MAIL FRAUD, BANKRUPTCY FRAUD, MONEY LAUNDERING, PERJURY, and OBSTRUCTION of JUSTICE on August 9th.
But the mainstream media ignores THAT scandal!
Why do you pick on The Clintons and give Romney and Giulliani a pass?

Did I miss something...what in the name of all that's sane was this comment worth? Thanks for letting us know they text...I think that's old news. As for the comment about Ben Smith,...I couldn't agree more with the majority of people who commented. I wonder if the comment by Ben would be made if he was supporting Hillary. probably doesn't help that he thinks Hillary is "YESTERDAY" and that being First Lady doesn't qualify as experience.

I love it. The campaign for a Presidential candidate and current United States Senator couldn't get the needed criminal and civil liabilities of one of their major campaign contributors. Who the hell is running that campaign anyway--Elmo? Then again, Terence R. McAuliffe (I love that he's using his full first name to make himself look so dignified) never met a contribution check he didn't like. Even better about this story is that Bill Clinton's foundation learned about Hsu and returned the money donated to them long before Hillary.

I wish the part about Hillary returning the money, but not really returning it would make MSM front-page news. It's important for the general public to see just how low and dirty she really is. She's really keeping money that was raised for her by a convicted felon who has been on the run for 15 years. What other skeletons are in her closet? Instead of talking about how she walks on water, how about a real journalistic investigation into what is going on in her campaign and a look at her books? If her fundraisers are fighting amongst themselves, there's more there than just Norman Hsu.

Actually MK, there is no hard evidence to suggest that any candidate who took money from Hsu, including Hillary, knew of his past, and believed in good faith that it was all on the up and up.
By contrast, Mitt Romney's National Fundraising Co-Chairman, and Giulliani Campaign Contributor Alan Fabian, was charged with crimes specifically relating to dirty money. (i.e. Mail Fraud, Bankruptcy Fraud, and Money Laundering)

Romney's campaign says they'll keep money from donors that Fabian brought in.
