So far Obama's stance on foreign relations issues, specifically Pakistan, have been vetted by former diplomats, A Former Vice Chairman of the 9/11 Commission, and a former CIA head. Yet the msm so eager to jump on the HRC bandwagon called them "flubs" for no other reason than the fact that a senator who continues to flip flop on Iraq deemed them so.

It is increasingly clear that Senator Obama has the most clear, productive, and common sense plans, approaches, and policy when it comes to foreign policy. Not to mention consistent.

It doesn't need to be reminded unlike a senator who supported the war for two years then didn't support it and then was on the fence until it was politically expedient, Obama opposed it from the start.

Love that last line.
I have not seen the video yet, so cannot say what I think of it. but, I did see Samantha Powers on Tucker and the reason, as she stated, for no actual number of residual troops is that at this point no one simply knows. i guess Obama talked with several military experts on this and they said the same.

Wonderful, the 'clean' black man with a booming voice says that we should reduce troop levels over time -- even specifying how many and when. Who has ever been to a football game where the coach of the winning side has announced over the loudspeaker, the phased withdrawls of his team over the remaining quarters.

Such is the facile reasoning of the retreating Democratic Party, anxious for another Vietnam-like loss.

john edwards always challenged the status quo in washington, actually he is the original dem "change" candidate but due to his statements against the corporations that own the government and media he has been kept effectively muzzled, and of course he does not have the novelty appeal of obama and hillary

Well, at least Obama has a plan. I love the analogy of war being like a foot ball game; had to have been written by some guy who is an armchair quarterback and the closest he's ever been to war is watching Arnold Sxhwarzenegger movies. Without a clear plan and/or the ability to change strategy depending on conditions on the ground a war cannot be won. Maybe, this is a little like football but unless there is an injury most players get back up to play another down. Not the same in war. When a guy goes down in war, it is usually for good. If one ever experiences the sight of this, as I and many other veterans have, the football analogy becomes as ludicrous.

Woody, "giving away the play book" is a straw man and always has been. At some point we'll leave, unless Republicans have their way. At that point it will be known and everyone will be aware that it will take months to withdraw. Therefore the only solution to your challenge is to always keep 130,000-160,000 troops there until we finally go bankrupt...and withdraw. Oops, that doesn't work either.

Have you ever been in a football game with no end in sight? One which we've been losing for 5 years where our players keep dying just because the coach is too cowardly to admit defeat on his watch?
