As for Obama having to cancel his SC appearance yesterday, I think canceling out-of-state appearances was the situation for all the senators running. Here in SE Iowa, Joe Biden had to reschedule several appearances that had been planned for Wednesday.

The pathetic run of MSM continues. You folks surprise me every day. And you are extremely unfair in not covering Senator Obama's campaign.

He made some major picth in last couple of days on economy. MSM covered crappy news like Senator Crig or OJ Simpson case with pictures and headlines. But not much on Obama's major policies. This man is running 2nd in national polls for future president. He is running almost tied in early states. His policies and proposals should be known by people so that they can evaluate him on substance with other candidates and choose whoever people believe should be their president. Obama had a rally in the middle of Washington DC on a weekday afternoon that local Fox5 channel reported 4,500 people attended. There was no word on MSM TV/online. If there is a corporate decision that MSM made not to cover Obama campaign with appropriate coverage and hide good news or spin them to bad news then PLEASE post an announcement as such on front page. We will stop coming to you guys for news and also ask rest of the country that they should look elsewhere to know about Obama.

When he talks about hope and change, you guys criticize he does not talk about policy or substance. When he talks about policy or substance, you don't cover. When Hillary Clinton deliver her healthcare speech (which is almost a copy of Edwards's), you guys run 2 day long headline. Once again, simply pathetic!

Actually, Obama did vote for the Dem version but your right he didn't vote against the Rep version - probably because he knew it wouldn't matter. If you look at the vote numbers you will see that even if he (and Biden who didn't vote on either issue today)had voted it still would have passed.

No. He voted on Sen. Boxers Amendment which says if we are going to condemn Move On, we better condemn the Kerry Swift Boat attacks and all attacks against Military/Vets too . Obama voted YES on that one and refused to play the Republicans game as did not even dignify it with a vote. It was appropriate and I was watching CSpan2 and saying to myself,

"Okay Obama don't even vote on this. You already made your point by voting YES on Boxers. Don't vote on this one"

Not saying I'm telepathic, but he didn't vote on it.

Thank you for posting those links of Obama coverage. Unfortunately, you're not fully comprehending Arshad's point. He's not saying that MSNBC doesn't cover Obama AT ALL, he's saying that your coverage is biased against Obama in favor of Clinton.
All of the articles you mentioned are "First Read" articles. Not articles that graced the cover banner of MSNBC.COM. If you'll remember, Hillary's plagiarized Health Care Plan DID get the front page of MSNBC.COM.
In other words, people have to go LOOKING for Obama POLICY coverage, whereas Clinton POLICY coverage is thrown on the front page for all to see. You know as well as we do that most Americans don't take the time to look for candidate's policy information. So, in effect, you are showing a preference for Clinton when you MAKE SURE they see her information.
We're not asking that you put Obama on the Front Page every time he moves his lips (after all, there is other news going on in the country). We are asking that candidate's policies (including Biden's, Dodd's, Gravel's, Edward's, Richardson's, Kucinich's, etc.)be given equal coverage so people can make informed decisions about a candidate.

Obama is right by not voting for this meaningless amendment. What happen to Rush Limbou, Sean Hannity comments on radio? Do senators vote on their comments? I heard Hillary voted No, well good for her.

Vilsack is not going to guilt women into voting for the wrong woman. Give us a little credit. yes, there are those who don't care about where hillary stands on issues or that she is corrupt, ect. They are going to vote for a horrible candidate simply because she is a woman. Wonder why they did not do so when Carol Mosley Braun ran the last time??? Afterall she was a woman.
But, I vote for the candidate, the issues and character and judgement. i don't check their physical characteristics.
