I have seen the videos on Youtube of the "Rudy on ferry" incident, and read the first hand accounts that were out before this Ed Wyszynski based BS. The original accounts have it that Rudy and his mafiosi posse muscled their way to front of the line waiting to board the ferry. The majority of what went on from there was the "Ron Paul!" chanting sort of thing. I have read where some say that they threatened to throw Rudy overboard. While I love the visual, the first hand accounts, and the videos show no proof of these claims.

Looks to me like a certain supporter-less candidate is trying like hell to get some press from what was an embarrassing ferry ride. Maybe next time Rudy and posse will pay more attention to who they're cutting in front of. Can anyone say "blow-back"?

Oh-eight (R): More on that phone call

Uh-oh.

Rudy - has not been to Iraq, and is running a single-issue campaign. These are bad enough, but with the quotes below, he is beginning to be in trouble...

"The rap on his candidacy, however, is that his personal history and behavior are simply too strange for someone who wants to sit in the Oval Office."

“‘That was just weird,’ one NRA audience member told the New York Post about the phone interruption. "Mr. Giuliani doesn't need more weird."

Oh-eight (R): More on that phone call

Also, not taking responsibility for the $9.11 decision. Sounds like Bush.

Oh-eight (R): More on that phone call

Paul, The Steelers are coming to AZ sunday
to whip up on your Cardinals!

Oh-eight (R): More on that phone call

There was a reporter on the ferry. Rudy walked up the ferry dock (outside the normal line), went right to the front of the line, where he waited for a few minutes (maybe 10 minutes - long enough for a few folks to get some pictures taken with him). I even grabbed my kids and RESPECTFULLY went up to him and asked him a questions about border security.

Note: The next day, Mitt Romney and Co. waited in line, just like the rest of us Americans. I'm voting for Paul, but at least Mitt had the manners to wait in line. (see http://9and10news.com/category/story/?id=122506 for coverage on both the ferry ride, and Mitt's Manners).

Rudy was taken, without incident, before anyone else could board, and put on the boat up in the pilot's house, behind closed doors and windows. He had 2 or 3 security people with him, and I believe there were also a few police on the boat too, not mention the above newscaster from 9 and 10 News, from Traverse City, Michigan. Why don't you, the MSM, call some 'non-biased' eye witnesses - you know there were more than just one person on the boat.

The atmosphere on the boat (with the exception of two comments that I can recall) was akin to being at a WINNING college football game. You must keep in mind that we all just finished having dinner and a special visit by THE true front-runner in this race, Ron Paul, and were feeling quite PAULitical. I was on the upper deck (in pitch blackness) as we crossed the Straits of Mackinac. There were cheers (not chants) of "Ron Paul, Ron Paul, Ron Paul"...sort of like 'Go Blue, Go Blue, Go Blue". There were a few isolated shouts of, "Where's the gold Rudy?" Big deal. What, people are not allowed to express their opinions any more? Simply because Ron Paul doesn't agree with that position, that 9-11 was an inside job, doesn't mean that others are not allowed to think that.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SA41dQwvO1c - this is the video shot by my camera - dark but shows the disembarking of passengers and cheering for Paul.

There were NO official campaign people on board - just people who attended the event. Rudy Giluliani, Fox News, and much of the mainstream media has misrepresented Dr. Paul, his supporters, throughout this entire campaign. We shouldn't have to walk on egg shells (although I'm all for, 100%, being polite, and reasonable). Rudy can snicker and lie, the MSM can mis-report on Dr. Paul, and America is waking up to it. Don't kid yourself...Americans are busy, in debt, frustrated with lying politicians, taxes, un-necessary wars, but we are not STUPID.

Just check out the comments on any Dr. Paul article to get a feel for the real sentiment of the people. Just ask any of the other 100 people on that boat that night what they thought went down. I think that maybe even Rudy had fun! Ruuuuuuuuudy - did you read the 9/11 Report yet that Dr. Paul assigned you last summer?
Oh-eight (R): More on that phone call

Oh...I forgot to mention that Ron Paul BEAT Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson BOTH in the straw poll, and creamed them both with the number of supporters on the ground.

Oh-eight (R): More on that phone call

- Paul's supporters would never throw Chuckles off the boat: Lake Michigan doesn't need any more pollution, and the steelhead trout might throw him back!

- That cell call during the NRA speech was actually the dry cleaners telling him his dress was ready for pickup. Didn't this moron know that when giving a speech to turn off his cell phone? The audience knows this out of courtesy to the speaker. Shameful that it couldn't be reciprocated in the spirit of courtesy and common sense, of which Chuckles seems to lack both.

Oh-eight (R): More on that phone call

Gee, I noticed Bruce from NV is at the usual "bash the supporters" tirade again. Tell us, Bruce, what makes you so mad to do that? Why the attacks on us? Why not address Dr. Paul's positions? Is it because you can't?

(I could be *really* sarcastic and start asking Bruce questions in baby-talk, implying that's his level, but I won't and take the high road instead!)

Seriously, what in this case makes you tick and makes you ticked off?

Oh-eight (R): More on that phone call

I love all this media trying to paint guiliani as a hapless victim, L O L! This actually makes him look even more like a little girl. Serves that dilettante right.

Oh-eight (R): More on that phone call

That sucks...they didn't throw him overboard?

Oh-eight (R): More on that phone call

Nine dollars and eleven cents...I'll give Rudi the whole ten bucks if he'll leave the country.
