Except Edwards flat out lied when he said he had the first health care plan. Kucinich and John Conyers co-wrote HR 676 and first introduced it six years ago. And his -- like everyone else's except for Kucinich's HR 676 -- is about health insurance. Only Kucinich has a plan for health CARE.

Edwards said he was the first presidential candidate in this campaign to come out with a true universal healthcare proposal. (meaning everyone is covered).

And that is a fact...not a lie. Please don't go placing a crown on Kucinich's head especially after his wanting to lower the drinking age for God sakes.

Other thoughts...

Clinton is doing a great deal of dodging tonight...I hope the voters who are paying attention don't let her get away with it.

Forget the candidates for just a minute, what was Tim Russert's problem last night. First, it's hard enough to get a candidate to answer a question and when Chris Dodd or Bill R tried, he would interrupt and argue with them? Tim, ask the questions!! Don't answer them unless you are throwing your hat in the ring. Second... WHAT IS WITH the bible question? When is this country going to stop assuming that everyone has to be a Christian? Of all the things I want to know about these candidates, their favorite Bible verse is last on the list! It's certainly no moral barometer.
