To be honest, I still don't see what all the buzz "was" about Thompson. He doesn't seem very enthusiastic, his platform is nothing that would set him apart from the other candidates, and the guy is just not as charismatic as you would thing an ex-actor would be. Seems like a lot of people have grafted their hopes on a savior for the Republican POTUS run on Thompson, when the reality is just disappointing.

Dr. Paul may have had a great surge at the end of the quarter in internet fundraising but what are his numbers for the other 12 weeks? Finally, the great new ideas Ron Paul brings to the table were wiped off of it in the 1970's (the gold standard) and at the start of the new deal (unregulated industry), and in many other eras he'd like us to revisit. It's obvious that the people who are claiming Thompson isn't energetic enough have been seduced by the expectation of the phony politician who will act, say and do anything for votes and press. Actually, Bob, you need to do the homework and apparently its math homework.

The $3.5 million from June's testing the waters was not part of the $8 million for the most recent quarter. He had to report that at the end of June and there was a big hoopla about how 'disappointing that was.' A quarter, 1/4...1/4th of 12 months = 3 months. Get it...July + August + September = 3 or 1/4 of a year. June + July + August + September = 4 months or 1/3 of a year (advanced math).

$8 million, 1 quarter, $200,000/day since September 6th all = 1 Next Conservative POTUS X 2 Terms = 8 more years of liberal whining.

Go FRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEDDDDDDD!!!!
