Because they have an agenda!

In my opinion, NBC, MSNBC in particular have such an obvious of agenda of wanting to cover a general election that has a female candidate for president, that they're willing to compromise their journalistic integrity and accountablility to seek the truth, soley so they can cover a female president.

Just turn on the Today Show, Meet the Press or Hardball and it's a Hillary Love Fest.

For the record, it's about time we have a female president. For that matter, it's about time we have a black, brown, red, yellow, purple president, but not at any cost.

The media is the only resource the american people have to ask the hard questions of our elected leaders. If being a christian means doing good unto others, practicing charity, living a moral life, loving your family, being honest, sharing the gospel, and following the tenets Christ himself outlined for us, then Mormons certainly fall under that category. They do all that stuff. Their missionaries leave their families for 2 years and pay their own way to share the gospel message. They have a welfare system second to none and have a rapid disater relief program that they extend to people all over the world and of any faith. Thousands of them helped after the Katrina aftermath, sometimes re-building the churches where those same preachers then feel compelled to speak bad about them. They pay 10% of all their income to their church and on the 1st sunday of every month donate extra money for charity, yet nobody in their congregations are paid. That money all goes to helping others. Probably why their church is growing so fast. Also, the US Government actively recruits Mormons for high-security positions because they are known as honest, clean, and intelligent people. They usually know a second language fluently as a result of their missionary labors, can easily pass all the background checks, and put a heavy emphasis on education. Sure they have some doctrinal beliefs that differ from the more mainstream christians, but they doesn't make them not christian. The very name of their church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They read from the bible, and also the book of mormon which they regard as a second testimony of Jesus Christ. Just sayin. Besides, whether or not we agree with anybody's religion should not affect the way we look and them as a person and decide if what they say has merit.

Romney’s 10,000 TV spots

Mr Lemmings, I see you on this childrens blog all the time. They speak of hope and pride and hold them close in order to believe rhetoric is real. Change is just a word if it is not backed up with solutions, oh yeah wait till the rebum candidates gather their primary forces with empty jingoism, then they will give real ideas in the general election. But the problem with this strategy is that the primary is being looked at by the electorate as a general election already. Pimping to the base will dig the rebums hole deeper. Hoorah for Democracy, Karl Rove was always wrong about how to gain and keep control by one party, democracy trumps ideology.

Romney’s 10,000 TV spots

Remember when the anti Mohamed cartoon made such a stir in the middle east? He works hard, has followed his dreams, takes care and grows money, will make intelligent decisions, takes care of his family and is a religious man. You see the difference between Mitt and everyone else is that he makes things happen. The change that he refers to will strengthen our economy, something that will prove vital in the coming years. It's time to stop attacking this man simply because he is Mormon. Everyone I have ever met around this world who knows anything about Mormons have had nothing but good things to say about their actions, attitudes, and, values. Never mind the fact that they may be right or wrong, the Mormon Church teaches love, compassion, self-sufficiency, and caring for others. If you ask me this is exactly what our increasingly divided country needs, which has been exemplified perfectly by the posts on this site. It is finally time for a smart, well educated, and successful, man to lead the way. Good luck Mitt...I'll be voting for you.
Romney’s 10,000 TV spots

Based on the comments here I must conclude that Mitt is too divisive a candidate to be president.

Romney’s 10,000 TV spots

LET'S NOT FORGET GEORGE W DUMBASS SAID HE WAS A CHRISTAN AND LOOK WHAT WE HAVE LIES,CORRUPTION,SCANDALS,WAR,TAX CUTS TO THE RICH S.O.B,SICK CHILDREN DENIED HEALTH INSURANCE (BUT LET'S HAND OUT ANOTHER 50 BILLION TAX CUT TO THE RICH S.O.B.),COUNTRY BURIED IN DEBT,HATED AROUND THE GLOBE

Romney’s 10,000 TV spots

Lance DUMBASS Davis IS SO STUPID,I DONT HAVE ANY HEALTH CARE AT ALL YOU STUPID IDIOT ,BECAUSE I CANT AFFORD $1000
A MONTH FOR HEALTH INSURANCE BUT THE CEO OF HEALTH SOUTH STILL RAKES IN A COOL 50 MILL A YEAR.BY THE WAY LANCE DUMBASS MY PROPERTY TAXES HAVE DOUBLED SINCE 2002,SO SIT BACK AND BE IGNORANT.

Romney’s 10,000 TV spots

I just happened upon this thread and had to add my two cents. Mitt Romney is a realist and an opportunist and he is not a real leader. Now that I have gotten that out of the way let me tell you why I say these things. When he ran for Governor he promised to save billions of dollars with reorganization of state government. In the end he may have saved a few Million but created much caos in the process. He promised hundreds of thousands of new jobs but in the end we may have actually lost real job growth here in Massachsuetts. When he ran against for Senator he was very clear--he was pro choice. Even when he ran for governor he did not change his stance; he was pro choice. He did balance the budget but our roads are in worse shape than in the last 20 years. He balanced our budget but raised funds by increasing fees and raising tolls. He balanced our budget but local schools had to close down sports programs and parents are now having to pay for their kids to ride the school bus.

Well, I could go on but this is enough. I hope those of you who support this man will do your research before you support him. I am not talking about a person who changed his ideas years ago just remember he just left us in January.

Romney’s 10,000 TV spots

Mitt has the look that will get home votes from some of the less intelligent "republicans" in America.
