Disgusting that our candidates are expected to "earn" their "right" to speak by how much money their campaign has earned. They should be given equal opportunities, period. And speaking of entitlement... Ron Paul has been a respected politician in our congress for 20 years. Thanks for the news and your increased coverage of Dr. Paul. What you report on this post is just a continuation of the treatment that he's received from certain elements since entering the race. When an RP fan gets a little upset and maybe makes an outrageous statement or two it's important to look past what is said and perhaps acknowledge why it is being said. Many folks are angered by the treatment that a good man is receiving. With an entire capital full of theives and liars our establishment has largely chosen the cleanest guy of the bunch to focus their smear jobs on. There is no personal dirt on Ron Paul and it's hard to make a logical or constitutional argument against most of his positions. What happens? They try to ignore him while fingering out for discreditation any supporter who says anything even half-way out of line. Thanks again for the news bit and coverage of Ron Paul. I appreciate it.

I noticed several weeks ago that the Dream people did not have Ron Paul's picture on the website although he was a confirmed speaker, but did have John Stossel's and that blonde guy. Oh, and they had FT's too, before he even announced. RP's pic is late in the list, and it does not remain on screen as long. Why can't people just be fair? If he is so fringe, why be scared?

Also, I enjoyed reading the essay about Ron Paul on the Tavis Smiley Presidential Form website. I did not know he offered to pay for the Rosa Parks, et. al gold medals with his own money instead of having the taxpayers do it. The man is SO smart, and so principled.

Now that he is running for the Presidency for 2008, I have witnessed my wife, also a former Republican and my 18 year old son become excited about the good Dr. Paul. My wife now turns people on to Dr. Paul during her breaks at work...amoungst mainly military co-workers...who almost allways respond with interest and a promise to check out Dr. Paul and his positions. If Rudy is so sure he can be Hillary, why'd he duck out of the Senate race in 2000? It was pretty well held belief in NY at the time that Hillary'd have cleaned his clock even then, when she was an unknown political entity, but he was pretty unpopular mayor. HE says it was for health reasons, but they cleared up mighty fast just a few months later when he tried to get NY law changed to extend his mayoralty because he was the ONLY one who could help the city after '9/11'.

They are still in phase 1 ( to ignore Ron Paul ) although I have send some reports from the MSM where they are entering into phase 2 ( to attack him with humor ). I noticed on a news report about him at a debate, the camera focused on his bald spot, then they went immediately to talking about the candidate wife's "dos". Ron Paul walks with a slight stoop, and the reporter mentioned that "Ron Paul is standing tall after reaching 5 million in contributions", then immediately going to a video clip of him walking to the podium. Expect it, here it comes. Typical school yard behavior from these nasty and miserable people because they can't talk on substance.

Phase 3 will be really nasty stuff brought up about Ron Paul. They will begin this phase if Paul keeps rising in the polls. Watch for it.

I'm a Ron Paul fan. He did a GREAT job, but did go way over his speaking time at a moment in which they were already behind schedule. Dr. Paul was even given MORE speaking time than every single candidate there, except Thompson and Guliani.

Why were Thompso and Guliani given more time? Because a GREATER AMOUNT of people came to see them, than to see Ron Paul! (Unfortunately.)

As for you bozo's who are talking about the "Republicans censoring Congressman Paul," this was a NON-PARTISAN event. It was even co-sponsored by the LIBERTARIAN PARTY, not the Republican Party.

Take a few handful of people and you might get some good ideas. Take a few million and you get crap. You get people who vote for one guy because he 'looks nice' or because he says something impossible but it sounds nice so we vote for him.

And most of us really just dont care. How else do you explain that people are demanding the heads of everyone in the white house after iraq? I mean getting a blowjob in the oval office is one thing..clinton only screwed one person. Bush is screwing the whole nation. We started a damn war over lies or through complete incompetence. It is with immense excitement and cautious hope I've read each of these postings.

It is heartening to know that
- a principaled man capable of leading the greatest country this world has every known out of huge messes this government has reclessly driven us into and stuburnly kept is in is heartening.
- many like minded people exist with a shared asperation for freedom, peace and prosperity and see a path for achieving such is heartening.

Yet when mentioning Ron Paul to dozens of friends and family I've found not one person who knows who Ron Paul is. Some are educated some are not so educated some are republicans some are democrates, some are white and some are black. Some are business man some are employee's....

A significant quantity of people who have never heard of Ron Paul is in my view our single greatest challange and is our most significant barrier twards electing Ron Paul as the republican nominee for president for the republican party. Sooo to help build awareness in my "hood" I intend to blanket cars, homes and public buildings with posters and leaflets simply stating "Who is Ron Paul? www.RonPaul2008.com"

Further more I urge each and everyone of us to build as much awareness for Ron Paul as humanly possible with your family, town and workplace.

Ron Paul is the only candidate I would vote for ! Ron puts our CONSTITUTION above all, unlike ALL the other candidates that have ignored what our founding fathers were all about ! I will be no longer be voting for any Rep or Dem UNTIL they get back on track and stop this nonsense of shredding our Constituion.
