You know, we would be better off reading the candidates speeches off their website than this sort of "reporting"--which selects the most trivial & stupid part. You add less than nothing. Not Domenico - nope got none !!! Meanwhile in Minnesota a National Guard unit stayed and fought in Iraq for 729 days (that's right - approximately 25 months) at a stretch and are being denied GI Bill benefits (about $500 - $600 credits for education) because they were written up by the Dept of Defense for - get this - 729 days , not 730 days which is apparently the minimum required. How can the government be this heartless ? And of course MSNBC.com goes into a tizzy over Marion Jones, Lapel pins, chilli suace, Rosie versus Barbara and - I kid you not - arugula.
I seriously think that if Domenico and Chuck Todd and this entire blogsite disappeared the world would be a better place.
On the Minnesota story the entire Minnesota congressional delegation is trying to get this matter sorted out - God bless them (irrespective of R or D)

Is the media calling out Obama on policy stances or his exchanges with other candidates? With this and the pin-crap, I'm starting to believe that the media is the "naive" player in this campaign.

I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist, but it seems there is an unnecessary rush to judgment in the primaries. Simple marketing states that sensationalism sells. Policy is boring to most TV viewers. Celebrity and the obsession with "gossip" have overtaken respectable journalism.

With all due respect, I understand your beholden need to your sponsors. You've found your angle. The story plays. But such fluff is silly when your readers desire a debate on relevant issues.

We commend you for being quick to many of your stories. But please spare us frivolous attack on any of the candidates in this race. The election of our president should warrant more relevant reporting.
