I sure hope that Jim can win the seat. It's about time that the Dems got off their high horse and realize that they too have failed America in Iraq. They're in power now and are far more impotent than the GOP Congress ever was. I really think Dem enthusiasm will dip because of this brutish, failed Congress. They seem to be incapable of anything! Niki Tsongas should not be elected and I pray for an upset that will favor Colonel Ogonowski. We could use some political balance in Massachusetts and the Colonel would help give that. Texas is heavily, heavily Republican, but even Texas has substantial Democrat representation. Win, Jim!

Washington state US Democrat senators and congressmen Patty Murry,Norm Dicks,and Brian Baird muscle in three earmarks in defense appropriations [you will recall that Murray was the one screaming loudest about the ''body armour''flap],forcing the US Navy to purchase a five million dollar speedboat that they did not want from GUARDIAN boatworks located in Edmonds,Wa. and forced another 17 million in Navy purchases from said company for more crap that they didn't need. The boat,which has been welded to its pier, sits in Puget Sound and has not moved from this location,except to run its engines once a month. Nobody wants it. After the Navy blowing over 20 million in taxpayer dough [how many new flak jackets would this buy Patty?],nothing except nearly 50 grand in campaign contributions from GUARDIAN to all three politicians has been accomplished.
